Apparently there is something on tonight called CinemaCon and Fox is doing a presentation.
Something might be launched at the back of that.
See http://twitter.com/#!/jenniferhchao/status/195565355698098176 for details and possible updates.
Looks like the @PrometheusMovie account is watching and re-tweeting.

Did you guys see this yet?
It has plenty of scenes worth analyzing, specially those related to David.
I watched once when they tweeted earlier. Saw those blue/hidden frames again but haven't had a look at them yet.

Space Jockey fart lighting party trick went horribly wrong?
Sorry boredom is driving me a touch mental...
Yeah, me too. Just grasping, I guess. Hoping there is more narrative behind the glitz and glamor of the videos.

Well, that dot is up in the Pacific Northwest of North America quite clearly. So, that could mean the dots are all over the North. We could be dealing with something about the Tunguska event (??)

It's definitely a Typo IMO. I can't view the original source at work, but 2fray2 had a screen-grab of it as "CE".

For this another one, i think that they mixed petroglyphs:
WTF is up with the representation of its location on the globe. Doesn't look like earth. Did I miss something?
I find it very odd that with so much thought and design poured into the website that we are finding so many sloppy "typos".
Once again, the wrong location is given for the artifacts. This is the only one i've seen so far though that's not in China or Vietnam...where is this?
EDIT: It looks like somewhere in Russia except that the distance between North America and Russia has been shrunk.
That dot might be in Northern China, I guess...
So then all the locations point towards China...but why?

Earth looks less familiar from various angles. I have to agree that is seems like Russia (looking down on the Earth from the North Pole).

Cheers, 2fray2. I was hoping for an actual screen cap, but this is great, too.
Two things stand out here:

VR HELMET
The VR helmet represents brand new technology designed to enhance the function of latest Weyland android, David 8. All new David 8 models will be VR-compatible. The helmet taps into David 8's expanded neural network and translates human thought, dreams or unconscious experience into images. The VR helmet senses the brain activity of a human subject, then enlists the high data processing rate of the David 8 to translate billions of synapse firings into visual data.
This sounds like it will account for that odd footage that's stymied everyone where you see the holographic figure running away and vanishing. So that is someone's thoughts David is observing, conscious or dreamstate, hrmm..

Cinema-style Magic Bullet allowing the Prometheus crew (and us by extension), to understand Space Jockey speech, maybe?

ELECTRONICS
MODULE 3.0
A BETTER WORLD OF INNOVATION
Weyland Industries employs over 800 million citizens. As such, our products and electronics are the most advanced, most efficient and most highly intelligent on the market.
Our bio-sensors can detect trace amounts of toxic contaminants, making workplaces safer. Our FTT devices and holographic controls make scientific research easier. And our micron-sized platinum-doped laser position sensors make everything from terraforming equipment to weapons-tech smaller, lighter and faster. Our innovations are working harder in every home and every industry sector to make your world better.
Developed by Weyland's world-class materials scientists and electrical engineers on Gliese 581, all innovations undergo rigorous testing at the New Products Testbed facilities at Henri Gaston. We use only the most advanced rare materials extracted from mines across the galaxy, and our nobel-prize winning physicists and materials engineers hold the leading number of patents in the fields of lasers, nanotechnology, and microfabrication. Many products using this technology will soon be making history as part of the highly-anticipated Prometheus mission.
MODULE 3.1
FEATURED PRODUCTS
SPECTAGRAPH
This next-generation device, used by Weyland geologists and engineers, surveys unknown planetary terrain in the pre-terraforming process. An omni-directional laser live-maps 3D topography and sends the detailed scanned images to the viewing platform. New hyper-conducting spherical shell allows smooth, self-propelled flight in any atmosphere. Polymer film bio-sensors can detect airborne toxins and life forms down to 500 nanometers.
VR HELMET
The VR helmet represents brand new technology designed to enhance the function of latest Weyland android, David 8. All new David 8 models will be VR-compatible. The helmet taps into David 8's expanded neural network and translates human thought, dreams or unconscious experience into images. HOLOGRAPHIC ENVIRONMENT SIMULATOR
Invented in 2024. Perfected in 2073. The Holographic Environment Simulator (HES) can provide audio, visual and kinesthetic enhancement to any room, anywhere. The HES picks up live video feed from a remote receiver and fills any space with the sights and sounds of that environment in real-time. The HES can also recreate a full-surround environment of a specific location from any point in time for academic study or personal entertainment.
BROCA DIALETICAL IMPLANT
Requiring no actual language-learning by the user, the Broca Dialectical Implant is the first of its kind. Embedded Interpretation Software (EIS) translates incoming dialects of any origin into fluent comprehension for the Broca user. An exclusive innovation from Weyland Electronics.
