I had gone through the post. The most recent two-a-half minute video introduce. At Weyland Industries, it has long been our goal to create artificial intelligence almost indistinguishable from mankind itself. It also make us to Weyland Corporation's robot David, who is played by Micheal Fassbender. Produce some more attachments for the more detailed view.
Rating hardly matters in my country, I've seen teenagers going into C and D-rated films (16+ and 18+ respectively). I'm just glad there's no PG-13 cut so everyone will see the same film as it was originally intended.
I'm not sure how the general populace here would react to a film like this, though. My main concern is that 1) there are no plans of having a 3D showing yet (I don't know why I care about it considering my sight is blurry already, but whatever), and 2) it might be shown only at a couple of theaters and not a nationwide release (sort of what happened with Cloverfield and The Fountain), seeing as it's an R film and all the attention is focused on Avengers and Spiderman so far. The only way to find out is to watch the trailer in the cinema and assess the reactions.

So, am I understanding this correctly? There will be cut content in UK showings? Are you freaking kidding me?
Nope, No cuts
I'm from the UK myself and have no idea what an R equates to but according to Empire Magazine there will be no cuts or missing content.
Hence my 'could be worse' post a few posts ago.

Good news, UK horror / sci-fi fans! Word has emerged that Ridley Scott's Prometheus will be receiving a 15 certificate in the UK - and that's a 15 secured without any cuts or edits, so we're seeing it very much as the director intended.

Bet you didnt know..
The robots' names in the series are in alphabetical order, according to film release dates: Ash is in "Alien" (1979), Bishop is in "Aliens" (1986) and Alien 3 (1992), Call is in "Alien: Resurrection" (1997) and now David, played by Michael Fassbender, is in "Prometheus."
Interesting they even kept this going..

There has also been a restructure to the source code on the Weyland Industries site but......as I have come to expect.....no new content
Looks like there is movement though, however slight, so an update could be on the way.
Fingers crossed I guess.

I agree. It's less than a month away from Prometheus' release date and still no Module B. When are they gonna unlock all the pages they restricted from us?
