Either the car in the background is an anachronism; or, this is an 'art' film and the characters appear to be somewhat Bohemian. I look at the one guy and think, 'saxophone', but I don't know why. I'm pretty sure I don't recognize the film.

Either that, or the Engineers - although they have mastered space flight, faster than light drives, and cryo-sleep - can't draw for sh!t.

Acting was just fair. Writing lacked a lot both in character development/continuity/judgement and on the technical side.

What was the possible source for the cave paintings? It was a distracting, open-ended question that never gets answered. Was it some genetic memory that we've since lost? Did the Engineers, themselves make them?
That said, when it shows up on the free previews, I'll watch it, again.

RE Prometheus, what did you make of it? To be honest, I didn't think that it was very good. The story seemed strong enough - Michael Fassbender and Idris Elba (who I think is a very underated actor) were very good - but I wasn't convinced with Noomi Replace.

And the whole sort of "lets approach that weird worm creature" didn't sit right with me. I mean, it wasn't cute enough for me to be friendly with it!
