Alright, since I've got a minute to throw a new one in the ring...

It was "Stranger than Paradise", in Jarmusch-Signature-Black&White™.

You're almost there. The actual title is still a bit more eccentric than that.

Either the car in the background is an anachronism; or, this is an 'art' film and the characters appear to be somewhat Bohemian. I look at the one guy and think, 'saxophone', but I don't know why. I'm pretty sure I don't recognize the film.

I guess I'll need to check out the extended content, some day.

You're probably right about the edits.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I'm sure the magic staples and everything that she's able to do after that would fall into that category.

I forgot to mention... The Cinematography and most of the CG was all very good.

I was thinking about that last night...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
...I can only assume that the Engineers returned to Earth at various points during the evolution of man - although that was never specified in the film itself.

Either that, or the Engineers - although they have mastered space flight, faster than light drives, and cryo-sleep - can't draw for sh!t.

Must have been one of Lindelof's "edits"...

Acting was just fair. Writing lacked a lot both in character development/continuity/judgement and on the technical side.

An early example anachronism was:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What was the possible source for the cave paintings? It was a distracting, open-ended question that never gets answered. Was it some genetic memory that we've since lost? Did the Engineers, themselves make them?

That said, when it shows up on the free previews, I'll watch it, again.

And the whole sort of "lets approach that weird worm creature" didn't sit right with me. I mean, it wasn't cute enough for me to be friendly with it! Very Happy
