Few days ago we were getting LOW battery status warning. We believe that it was about battery on satellite. Thing went by mostly unnoticed by OTP crew.

Last time we deactivated it was down 18 hours. This time looks it will last longer. About that SIM card ACTIVATION on AGENT SYSTEM...
It is very strange that you would have to enter SAME number twice. But enterinf BAR CODE FROM SIM CARD triggers "to enable service please enter the iccid on your card after the prompt.." message. So question is what is ICCID nimber! Here are few things about number on BAR code.

My theory about those two messages - you'll notice the message with offset 0 has 22 sets of numbers in it, and the second one has an offset of 23.
In real 'number station' usage for decoding one time pads, the agent receiving the messages keeps the key in a single book. When listening to a number station, there is an indication placed within the message of which number is the first number in the key. In this case, I think the offset indicates that these 2 messages are decoded in the same way and with the same key, almost certainly as a one time pad. offset = 0 says we should use the first 22 numbers in our key, and offset 23 means that it starts immediately after that in our 'code book.' So if we had a real code book, offset 23 would mean we should find the 23rd number in our book and use that as the starting point of our OTP decoding. The fact that there are 22 sets of numbers, and then another string with an offset of 23, seems suspiciously not-coincidental and leads me to think I'm on the right track. Whatever the key is, the answer would be located at the beginning for the offset=0 key. I tried playing with the random data in the ubuntu CD, but with no luck as of yet. One other thing I noted is that each numeral is between 1 and 255, which corresponds with a single hexadecimal pair (and, in fact, an ascii code). I'm not sure what to make of that. For calling MD guy call 202 204 2303
Previously we got to him by calling old 202 and 303 numbers with certain agent code. MD guy always ask you about the "number". Giving him random number (no decimals , no negatives, no zero, no 43 because 43 is in the book) he will give you (1. "sight", 2. some typing and waiting) tehen you get his response. There are few types of standard MD responeses: 1. another seemingly random number 2. you have to call (some city with airport/echelon/military base) 3. he asks for return number(he wants you phone number and he calls you back few days later; you have to be able to repeat number you gave him whne you call him to get return call when he calls back to confirm your id) 4. ##/#####/##### formatted number (we have two so far /10/526030/5030011 and 13/391297/3524531 they seems important) 5. ZERO (answer if you ask to easy numbers, if you try numbers in order or with some other pattern that might help you to crack MD guys method of calculating responses) 6. hang up (his usual answer to troll attempts) 7. sometimes he puts people on hold for longer periods of time

I suppose bambusar could use some help keeping things updated.
The CD was ripped to an ISO; it's basically Ubuntu 12.04 (not 12.04.1). <Ymgve> 0x12C00000 to 0x19000000 is different from the official ISO What this did is basically cut a big gash through the squashfs containing Ubuntu's filesystem, so it's a fair bet right now that the Ubuntu ISO is just a wrapper around this 100 MB block of mystery meat. (Ubuntu itself is unbootable and will crash in various ways if you try.) Here's a dump of the byte frequencies in that 100M block: http://pastebin.ca/2291896 It appears to be pretty much random. No obvious patterns or anything. For all we know, someone just piped /dev/random into the ISO and burned it for us. Popular opinion thinks it's a TrueCrypt image though, but it's literally impossible to tell unless we have a key.
