Unfortunately, the list isn't viewable by those without a Google account...
With 174 pages, is it really that bad to have an occasional duplicate, especially if a different picture is being used?

Just a reminder not to post duplicates.
Rocky Horror and Weird Science have been used before.
Check the list, prior to posting.
The link to the spreadsheet is also in the first post of this thread.

Well, that's because the scene in the picture looks serious instead of funny...
Here's an easy one:

Oh well... Time for the next guess...
Funny movie, made a good many years later than 1930, which might contain the St. Valentine's day massacre (?)...
Some Like it Hot? (1959, so 29 years after Scarface)

Johnny Dangerously?
I guess it was just the public service movie in the film that was black and white.
So, excuse me... My mother hung me on a hook, once.

Interesting, didn't know about that. But no, it's a good many years later than that.
The scene depicted is not one of the many for which the film is renowned.
I love the film, as do a great number of people. It always makes me laugh when I watch it.

Before 1935? Well, then it could be "Scarface: The Shame of the Nation", made in 1930 and released in 1932.

I'm just guessing that it has to be before 1935 when a law was passed that said gangsters could only be depicted "getting caught" in movies and the four in the foreground don't seem like Ness types to me.
Not sure when the law was changed, but it does show that government manipulation of information is nothing new.
