Just as we suspected...Steve is gone.... read the new blogspot entry... i tried to email him last night... still nothing... wtf?
What is the image in spring2.jpg.. can't make it out. sylvia
EDIT: and where is the still of spring at 56 seconds? it has a downed tree limb/log I would post it but I don't know how to save stills on my computer from a video file.

Pics of things I found in "Spring" segments
There is one more picture but for some reason I can not seem to save it right. Its in the first spring section and it has a similar figure as in spring 2, but it is in the center of the screen.

Higher math was never my forte.
Maybe it's something simpler?
I'm sure there are many uses for e, but I recall (and maybe not correctly) that it was discover in a quest for continuously compounding interest. Either way, I would guess here (if the hypothesis is correct in the first place) that it is to be used as a key.

Oh, duh. The number e could be what snider replacesd with the letter e in EIEIO. And e has plenty more properties than just for calculating interest. Haha. Mathematically, it is defined as the limit of (1+1/x)^x as x approaches infinity. It is its own derivative. It's really a very interesting number. It appears in maaaany equations pertaining to expotential growth and decay, especially in lower-level calculus. I could really go on forever. Ill spare you all. A pretty important equation linking pi, e, and i (square root of -1) is...
1 + e^(i*pi) = 0
I'm done now, promise.

Personal notes from latest video
I think this may be worth spoilering, although it contains no solutions.
My notes themselves:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Spring" Segments
0:56 – nothing unusual noted
1:08 – strange yellowish shape in lower left corner
1:21 – large "e"
1:32 – small Greek "pi" toward lower left corner, but only in later frames, probably due to editing
3:04 – long spring clip, nothing unusual
Pumpkin Placement
camera speeds up past the place of the pumpkin
1:06 – it appears that the pumpkin is there on a pan shot as Steve turns around. IG or oops? Second opinion?
EDIT: Spring scenes are of same area, but not the exact shots themselves. This game appears to have been well thought out.
My thoughts on my notes:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I thought "Pi? Why pi? We've already had that." Then I realized that maybe it's a clue for e, another mathematical irrational number, which is used to help determine constantly compounded interest.
e ~ 2.718281828459045235360287471352
So what is it a cypher for?

I'm analyzing the video frame by frame right now. There is some very interesting stuff in there and I will post as soon as I get it all organized. Then I'm going to go back and analyze the previous videos the same way.

The EIEIO part could sounds strange because of the math substitutions Snider made. It could be, like, three pi three pi two. Haha I'm such a nerd.

Good job tokkii was it reversed like i suspected?
I had to turn my sound up pretty loud and listen to it multiple times to get it. I know the E I E I O sounds strange, atm I am trying to track down what he might have used for the voice (it's pretty robotic), if I can find I'll compare that part. I was also thinking that maybe the fact it sounded weird was just an effect of the audio manipulation.
Then again, Jeff does seem to have a stutter in his typing so maybe it's more than it seems.
I think that the video also flips to spring more times than it seems. There are a couple of long shots where it's very obvious the seasons have changed but I think there are a lot of flashes of spring for fractions of a second. I have nothing more advanced than my pause button, so I'm finding it difficult to see if true. I'll try and cap if I can get them. If someone has the will and the way, you might want to break it down.
(edit: I think that the heavy breathing is what Jeff and Steve are running from. Once it starts, they kinda panic and get out of there.)

This was the first time it was mentioned, but it was also around the same time we started lurking behind the curtain (page 14), so I'm not sure if this is IG or not.
So, we still don't know JB, Sni(der?) or Daniel L. Bullerman

Listen to where it says "EIEIO" again.... there's something odd there... like extra letters or a stutter? Maybe just me...all the Adderol I'm on lol

So this pretty much confirms the Snider connection. The letters EIEIO could be used as a key for a vignere (sp?) thing, but I'm not sure if we even have anything encoded to decode. Or maybe a username/pw?

I've already emailed Jeff... waiting for a reply. I've been taking it upon myself to email. should I wait to email things until we have all agreed what we want to say. sorry if I jumped the gun.
Good job tokkii NM it's plain as day now that you said that lol
