I really don't know how we're supposed to be looking at that email code. Agh.
As for the nuclear waste theory, it seems like it can explain a few, but not all of the symptoms of Jeff's illness. As for the weird transfomations, I really have no idea. Unless his DNA was altered and the camera is picking up on some weird mutations invisible to the human eye, then I really don't know about it.

might just be the wrong way of looking at that code, I'd try looking for more patterns from the original format.

Sorry guys, I got windows and I have never been able to do that all I get is like Doug said "401 Unauthorized." Besides, I think it is more fun to crack the password, when the PMs are ready for us to, by the clues they give us. (my 2 cents)

the thing Jeff is truning/has turned into, sort of reminds me of the movie "The Grudge" and at the same time, it reminds me of the video game "Area 51."

The trick did not work on my computer, I downloaded the "401 Unauthorized" page. When you say it has to do with the paranormal and government, I immediately thought of The X-Files I think you are going somewhere though, the government might be using him as a human lab rat , or some weired experiments were conducted with him.

Watched the video. BIG mistake at one in the morning when you're a dainty girl all by your lonesome.

So this story has taken a rather weird turn. I was thinking earlier today back to the first and second video. In it there were the burn marks on the trees, the face in the tree, and the things jumping in the snow. It didn't quite make sense given the current theory of government testing or nuclear waste. Now this "demon" face has me questioning it even more. However, I also don't know how someone could be "infected" with demon and be given a pill to make it better. It would seem there is some twist where this story involves the paranormal AND the government. Can't quite put it together yet, but I am dying to find out what happens next!

[EDIT] Tried the href thing for the mail page but when I right click the link there is no option to save. There is an option to download, but when I choose that it asks for the password. I am not sure if this is a Mac thing, cause I tested it on other sites and got the same thing. So I suppose someone with a Windows machine should take a crack at it.

I know one of the user accounts actually set up on the server is bullerma (if you go to https://bullerman.net, it redirects to https://bullerman.net/~bullerma. The ~ means to go to the home folder of the specified user, therefor that must be a user name). I have no idea if that will work though, or what to use as a password.

Yeah natas, that was an awesome solve. Anyway, if Jeff and Steve are headed out to the marsh tomorrow, we could get some new clues very soon. However, I don't think the Tripoli City lead has been investigated very thoroughly. I'm going to pull up a map of the city and see if I can find some sort of way to grid it and work in the code from Steve.
