Ok, so I didn't finish hte transcript, and I have to go. Here is what I have so far:

Quote:
Dr. Gough: Okay, continuing our pre-alpha test. Um, sequence number 342. Oh, no no. This is test number 343. And, here are some notes on the setup. Uh, we're using the progressively phased Argon lasers with, uh, protoype 4 module, and the full [unintelligible - Repro?] software is version 1.003.1705. And, uh, we're also using the electrostatic sonic field drivers with prototype 7 for the sonic driver module, and the reverse haptics driver isVersion 0.41.509. Okay, ah, you ready AJ?

AJ[: Yes.

Dr. Gough[: Alright, goggles on.

AJ: Okay.

Dr. Gough: And, uh, turn on the full [Repro] system.

AJ: Yes Doctor. It's on.

Dr. Gough: It's on now, okay. Um, okay, it looks like it's in phase, ready to go! I'm reaching

in.

AJ: Okay.

Dr: Gough: Hey! I can see it coming through, that's-that's good. That's good, just like we

expected. And that's, uh, good. Now, I can flex my fingers, I can roll my hand. I can move

side to side and pull back (Jay: Ooh!) and it's tracking pretty closely. That sounds good,

okay. Um, time ot turn onn the reverse haptics generator system

AJ: Okay. Reverse haptic generator is on.

Dr. Gough: Okay, that's, ah, that took it a moment, but it's in sync now. Alright, now. Let's,

let's give it a test here. I'm going to touch the orange and, uh, move it a little to the right, a

little to left, a little toward me, and a little - a little away. Okay, that's good.

AJ: That's fine.

Dr. Gough: Good, that confirms it

So what happens, is the doctor is moving an orange with a hologram, picks it up, and it falls through his hand.

Speculation on who's behind the curtain and what this is all about based on the evidence so far.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ok, so we know the packages came from San Francisco and that the video effects in the youtube vid were first class, therefore I believe this has got to be from Lucas Arts.

The hologram of the hand looked a lot like the effect from SW 1-3 when Characters appear as a holograms.

They have the technology, money, people and influence with the right companies to pull this off.

So the question is if that's true, is this a viral campaign for Force Unleashed or the new Indy Jones movie or for something else?

Alright, I'll start transcribing that vid - I'll be sure to get all the numbers exactly right.

P.S. I have about 20 minutes. If for some reason I don't finish within that time, I'll have to pick up after school.

P.P.S. AP Exams today! :X

Stick with it Lex, you can't be awake 24 hours a day.

True, but if the only activity is in those 8 hours that I'm not, it doesn't feel worth it. :/

(plus being unable to hear sound during youtube clips at work sucks)

I've just watched the youtube video driz found http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25513&start=360

a few times, there are a lot of numbers, in strings, anyone see an IP address in there?

Lazer
Prototype 4 model, driver 1.003.1705

Prototype 7 for sonic driver
Reverse Haptics driver 0.41.509
(To do with touch sensory modeling)

the periodic table pic indicates H is important so now it leaves
HDO, HCN, HNC, HCO

The bent shape is characteristic of 3 component Oxygen compounds,
us to narrow it down even further:
HDO (monodeuterated water), HCO (formyl radical)

Both are mentioned in a paper involving astrophysics and.... you guessed it... lasers!

http://www.rsc.org/publishing/journals/article.asp?doi=ft9908603837

and beyond that, no clue...

Wow... I think my AP Chem score should retroactively get bumped up from a 2 to a 3 for remembering enough to make that connection 9 years after failing the AP exam. Wins! With lasers!

Ok so now we know what lasers has to do with everything... I'm still thinking about all the research I did on slow food to put my fake resume together... I thought it was interesting that he was using holograms to manipulate food... specifically an orange i think. Which brings me back to the question of what they need a Chef for...

Also we might be able to extrapolate which of the who molecules it is based on the sizes on the atoms in the logo. And by we, I me someone other than me.

I'm guessing the exact compound is going to be important.

One more final thought... the packages some of you received contained a package from was was essentially orange juice with the logo stuck on top. Perhaps the compound is contaminating the orange juice or the drink package is the missing link between the company logo/molecule and the company needing a slow food chef.

Looks like the hand with the orange from the video.

Thanks, Sylvia! That helped me out.

Found the connection between one of our digg-ers and youtube

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
According to his page, Mr. Booher represents the 102nd district in the Michigan state senate. The atomic number for Nobelium is 102.

And enaxor found a connection to a second digg-er

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Albert Hoffman died at the ripe old age of 102.

Nice work, driz! Pretty cool stuff.

This just occurred to me a bit ago. Dr. Eugene Gough. E. Gough. Dr. Ego. Meh, maybe I just need sleep.

I'll tell Nate - it seems like (OOG) the blog is there for us to tell him what is happening - after all, he is the unsuspecting guy caught in the middle, and (IG) any decent person who stumbled on this would warn him right away.

P.S. I kinda already emailed Nate before I read the message...

I'm guessing that the 2nd digg image was a play button referring to playing a video on youtube.

Chixor has a physics friend look at the set up and said it was believeable.

Massive impressive. I was wondering the same thing in chat. Is "AJ" our mysterious randomknowledge?
