Hopefully not breaking rules, I'm still new to ARG stuff, but I can't help myself now. I want to see where this all goes.

Basically, I told my school about the job posting, and they may take it down or do some more research, and possibly get more answers unintentionally.

I did get a bit more info which I didn't see in this thread after searching and so forth. For Holomove, the UCSD career website lists its contact info thusly:

Industry: Marketing/Communication
Overview: Advertising Agency

Street Address:
600 battery streeet

City
San Francisco

State
California

Zip Code
94111

Didn't see much with Google Maps or streetview, though...

I was thinking I should LET it go, but before I could even get this post up, the CEO mentions it again. So much for "we want you to feel comfortable here," AND "we are all about teamwork." I suppose trust falls and name games would be A better way to encourage teamwork? We weRE all willing to work last weekend to keep ON schedule, but Erik closed down the office for repairs. In my experience, there are two fuels for teams. Coffee and beer. Stress and relief. This wasn't a kegger, it was just a couple of beers. Am I totally off base?

So the Missing words might be: Let And Are On I, or do you guys think its some type of anagram?

Hm...I can't help but think that "No More Beer" means something...yet Nate is the everyday guy here - doesn't seem like he would be trying to hide anything.

[EMAIL] Another Nate LinkedIn response

No real new data but thought I'd post just in case some of you smarter folk see something. If anything, it just shows he's *really* smitten with Eliza Very Happy

I wrote:

Hey Nate,

Sorry for seeming so "forward" - I guess us San Diegans are a friendly bunch Smile

Well, let's just "network" then Smile I'm looking for a QA position and I notice your company has a Sr. Software Engineer in QA opening. I've contacted HR, solved their fun little puzzle, but haven't heard anything back - any suggestions you can offer me?

Thanks,
Over-Friendly Celina Very Happy

Oh no worries. Just things are getting pretty serious between me and my girlfriend and I'm nervous. I guess I'll have to get used to friendly!

As far as HR, I don't know what the deal is. Not to rag on HR, but they are slow. All I know is there are open positions which I hope they fill so I can go home a little earlier. Good luck.

Here's the third pic from the Flickr page - on one of the trucks, you can see Nordic Aero. Turns out to be some kind of airline. My guess is OOG, but the only thing I see that might be amiss is that the Nordic Aero website is in English.

My guess is OOG though. Maybe the picture on the flickr page can be de-stegged with a bit of "random knowledge"?

hehe, i like the hollowmoves response, it indicates they are using bravado to hide something..what they do is hollow, without any meaning, perhaps meant to conceal something other.

strifey determined that if 3:16 was actually 2:16 (where gibberish results), the phrase ends up being:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
HOLOMOVE=HOLLOWMOVES

still looking for a connection.

so the letter puzzle -

and the description:

5:5
4:7
3:6
6:10
2:6
1:7
3:9
5:22

1:2
2:9
6:8
5:4
4:6
3:16
6:4
4:11

Solve:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The first number is the side # (angle) to follow x steps. Start at H, then 1:4 means take position 1 four steps (top right) leading to O.
Follow that through where 1 through 6 is clockwise each side.

I was able to follow through to HOLOMOVE=HOLLOWMO, but the 3:16 (points down 16 steps) loops, then effectively creates a non-sensical last 3 letters. Possibly a typo?
VIE makes sense for the last 3 which would lead to HOLLOWMOVIE

There's a Hollowmovie.com but it seems oog (haven't done a whois yet)

After reading Nate's blog, I figured the best place to put images is on flickr. And now we have a puzzle to solve.
