Actually I did get an email from Bricker, unfortunately I can't post it from my iPod, so I'll do it when I get my laptop setup. However, I was sent 2 docs, one titled "port queenie stuff", and the other "bella". His introduction was brief
Quote:
heading to the cabin. Good luck. You have a man's job ahead of you"

And the more you guys mention the possibility of the code with the italicized words, the more I think you're onto something. I'll try to seperate them out of the docs I was sent, then we should get them all together in one spot, like the wiki...

More when I don't have to type on this dumb thing.

=edit=
Ok - So read the one titled Queenie first so you can go in order...

One other thing - has anyone else been getting a lot of new followers on Twitter? I seem to be accruing more followers at the rate of about 2-3 per day. And I gotta be honest - what I tweet isn't very interesting unless you're following this... Anyone else?

i found a game - it may be OOG - but it's a game

Neonatal Battleship by Brian Bricker of REACH Communications Center - it's hosted at quia.com - quia is pronounced KEY-ah. It rhymes with Maria.

if you hit a ship you get to answer a question relevant to your REACH neonatal transports training - even if you are without training, you can easily guess the answers - it's multiple choice - i've attached a screen grab of the most interesting set of choices - i can't put my finger on it, but the question seems silly - i forget which is the correct answer - maybe it's DiBenedetto et al - who are those people? - i wonder if there is an IG connection? - maybe they're just plain folk trying to get their level status up to BASIC - my apologies to them if i've dragged them in here for nothing

bernadette maldonado
donna knapp
julie keeslar
mario palmieri
rita wiley
greg taylor
carmen dibenedetto
steve draeger
loyd helmick
dave milbourne
derrek alexander

incubate neonate brood

-edit- looks like they all have training in neonatal care - the only one that didn't have any results when i added 'neonatal' or 'mediplane' to the query was Steve Draeger, so maybe it's 'which one of these things is not like the others' - but it's probably OOG - so never mind

re: TGATT - 13.doc

A heck of a lot of words are italicized, even when it doesn't make any sense for them to be.

I think there is another puzzle/code in there, but I'm too tired to try to figure it out at the moment. Just pointing it out in case someone else wants to take a crack.

Huh.
So Bricker sent me another piece of the manuscript without my asking for it. Not that it explains anything we're trying to figure out, but it's a good read. It's the part where Dr. Bernard is in conversation with the Oracle... she talks about her abilities, mostly.

Wulf, Schwinn: did you guys get anything?

Also: the Sandleford page has changed yet again. With the title 'Time To Prepare' and the message 'you are almost there' in the source code.

I am going to speculate without having read TGATT, and without understanding everything..

What if Diana C Madden is the Oracle?
Brian said that he had this urge to write a story, that somehow came true.
Could it be that the almighty Oracle somehow planted this story (that already was true,) in her sons head, just to get it out there because she needs help.
So people have to know about the story.

What do we know about Diana C Maddens death? She is listed as deceased on the internet, but is she really? Or do you think Jenny is the Oracle? I mean, Port did saw her lying in pieces...

About brightman2.jpg

Only the text and the number in the bottom is different from brightman1.jpg. The image itself is the same. It is about 20 KB larger though. I don't know anything about destegging, so haven't tried that.

I always wanted to do this:
Trout Trout Very Happy

Jenny is the Oracle. She never actually died according to Brickers TGATT.

Nice catch with the size of the pic - but I'm thinking theres a good chance it really is just the difference between the numbers. Maybe with the exception of a bit of text, which is possible, there's not likely to be anything hidden within the picture. And I hate de-stegging, lol. But if I get a chance later on today, I'll give it a shot.

Another note, I didn't go digging through it much anymore, but you can also dig "Arlen Rage" out of there, I don't know what's left though.

Thanks TD! I'd basically assumed that "DEMOLAY IS RAGE" would not be part of the solution - because we already knew that Smile but obviously that whittles quite a bit out of the puzzle.

Once you take out DEMOLAY IS RAGE, you are left with these letters
CNOHOUNWEFIGRAEOETNAB

Then, I noted that WATCHER is in there. Taking out WATCHER we have left
NOOUNFIGAEOENB

Playing around with those yields two combos that seem at least somewhat meaningful
A GENUINE BOON OF
and
OF A UNION BEGONE

Which I would take to mean either:
"Boon of a genuine watcher" or "Genuine boon of a watcher"
or "Watcher of a union begone"

None of which means much of anything, although I can stretch and try to connect it to the story. (Of course, "DeMolay is Rage" made no sense when we got it either.)

I'm pretty sure WATCHER is part of the correct answer, but "NOOUNFIGAEOENB" still yields several thousand anagrams. I tried to concentrate on "ONE", "AGE", "UNION", and "GENUINE" as likely candidates - and so I'll throw that out now for public comment.

okay, i messed with the italics some.. didn't get anything really, but for longevity purposes i figured i'd note it here, just in case someone can pull something out of it.

DEMOLAY
IS
RAGE

CAN
FIGHT
RUN
BEEN

and "O O W E O A" left over.

Cool - thanks for the update. What italics puzzle - afraid I'm not sure what you're talking about.

And i brought Port's package with me, so I'm going to go thru it again till I find what we're missing...

Hey wulf - I'm working on the italics puzzle - can't speak for anybody else

Just to note that between when I posted the sandleford.html update above, I checked all the related blogs and they were all unchanged. Between then & now, Hazeltine Report, The Brightman Oracle, and Port King blog have all been completely wiped. No "Cleared" + date message anymore. Just a great big period (as in ".") Other game blogs were unchanged as of a few minutes ago.

edit - losing track of the states of the blogs - USA Oracle Project is completely gone now. Not cleared, just "that blog does not exist". Can't remember if that was how it used to be - I thought it was there as "cleared", but now I'm not sure
