I shot another email off to sarge asking when he thinks it might be safer, and mentioned our friends are missing and were anxious.
First thing he asked me was if i was a Fed, now the medi?
Yeah, I'm starting to get the impression that Sarge has been given an entirely different reason for telling his story, now of all times, rather than in the past. It almost sounds like he's been told that the media is going to contact him, because someone leaked out that he had an important story.
I'm going to respond to the email he accused me of being with the media, and recant some of the things I said in there. To see if I can get him to open up a bit more.
I think any further dealings with him - we should (at least I will) pretend to be part of some unnamed media organization.

I can go. It's only a 12hr drive for me - but I have enough skymiles for several free flights - so I can hop a plane and be back home the same day if necessary. Just need a day or 2 advance notice to set it up.

I also fired an email off to Mr. Army. I thought tho - that the person I emailed was Thomas Lincoln? Yet I noticed that Val Seer addressed him as "Ernie". So far as I'm aware, Ernie isn't short for Thomas in anyway.
