I'm back, after a while... busy busy here... anyways, looks like we're preparing! If LAINSY can defend us, why does Genus still need our help? Or is it because probably he himself thinks whatever LAINSY has right now isn't enough? I kind feel that way with his message. So is he asking us for ideas how to put together something from technologies they have?

Also, if you think about it there's an optimal range for any kind of weapon, especially if your target is moving... So yeah, if these enemies of our are in warp, it would just be wasteful to blindly fire a weapon if your accuracy is too low. imagine using a sniper riffle to kill someone 10 km away inside a moving car....

so yeah, LAINSY probably knows she can only fire the weapons once they reach this optimal distance, which sounds either somewhere in our solar system (depending on the speed they are travelling) or very close to Earth if she can only fire once they get out of any sort of warp speed.

Ok, we have three days to come up with something. As far as I know FAILTECH has the LMAO tech, and some other tech they have on development... didn't they also have some other tech ready for release supposedly last month? Well, that is aside for FIRST, which isn't exactly "technology"

also, may I raise the question about how's their progress with Pedro? Isn't it that they have him somewhere with his memory wiped? I wonder if he got his memory back, maybe we could get some intel.

I am imagining it like Star Trek terms. I see it as if the ships approaching are in warp speed and they can't be fired upon until they actually drop out of warp when they arrive at earth. Here is an email from Genus...

Okay some communication going on. From Netspec, Patrice is moving to the France facility and is working on trying to find Daniel and also trying to communicate with her FAILTECH spies/agents (since LAINSY kicked the email system when she took control):

If I can, however, make them go back, it will give me enough time to finish the machine I'm making that can send them back into their real time. And hopefully we can settle down and do other things such as get Daniel back and help my friend Winston about his concern about 45459. You know, Winston's mission is in a much bigger scale than that we are facing, but with us being stuck here probably facing extinction, his mission will fail. Which is why he's helping us and setting aside his main task at hand. Ok then! Let Scarlet do her thing, and help her out for anything. We'll sort the company problems later.

Anyway, I guess right now we are focusing on the incoming Orkudusu, figuring out what they might want, and figuring out how to get rid of them. And LAINSY may be query-able or command-able now.

I had not read the OOG blog in a while, after the announcement of episode 5, so thanks for the heads up. That's very nice of them, and a pleasant surprise that this is tied to a novel! I'll read it however it may come to me

To be fair, the issues that arose from the new plot developments have to in their nature confuse the direction of the story. Once time ceases to appear linear, and the players we used to depend on FAIL us, the game is that much harder to follow.

Basically, I'm still here. I'll have to try and wiggle myself back into the attentions of Genus and Patrice, and so on and so forth. My indefinite leave of absence is over (Oh yeah, I never told anyone I went on that, did I )
