The boxes were looked up in this symbol encyclopedia http://www.symbols.com/encyclopedia/28/2813.html , but I couldn't find the four dot one there. They didn't look like maritime flags in the wicki.
It's confusing because they might have a border around them. The first simple is closest to either xray or romeo, second is likely quebec though may be papa, third is oscar for sure.

It appears that they have graphically cleaned up the sites as well. It seems neater and the text is showing up much more crisp.

I thought someone figured out that those symbols were international maritime signal flags

I'm pretty sure the photos are jut pretty rewards, and not involved in adding to clues...

Wonder what the new logo boxes are supposed to mean? The old ones are still on the images if you click to see them. But now on the main page they are changed to the 4 dots, plain box. and diagonally half filled box- but the bottom instead of the top filled. And now they go across instead of down.
Why bother to do that if it doesn't mean something?
Also, looked for my "red star" light on the 3rd picture. It is still there when you click on image, but not on the less clear pic of the ship on the main page. Then I saw on the second picture of the landed ship there is a beacon type light in red on the click through image, but not the main page one. So maybe they just were making those screenshots prettier by adding some color. OR maybe it is REALLY important. Sigh.

Nice...
Glad to see they're on it!
Excited to keep going.

Just realized that NONE of the picture descriptions on the updated site are finished....Almost like they ran out of character space.
"This image leaked after intrepid Weyland Investors detected a regular pulse emanating from a distant star. Once the pulse was decoded as 6EQUJ5, a pattern known as "the Wow! Signal," avid Investors used it to hack into a hidden directory on WeylandIndustr"
"Perceptive Weyland Investors found a mention in the Weyland Corporation's Investor Information of "Cosmic Call 2", a radio message sent from Earth in 2003. When the text from Call 2 was used as a password, this image was discovered on Weyland Corporation"
"Weyland Investors who dialed **WEYLAND heard a reference to Eridu, an ancient city highly relevant to the Prometheus Project. Through diligent research, these Investors determined that entering Eridu's current name, "tell abu shahrain," granted access to"
Somebody's gettin fired!...just sloppy!
Or SMS limit?

From what they say there, we investors were to unlock the photo with the call... the message in french.
On a side note, now it's all clear, lowered kingdom is not a common expression, very biblical and unusual, I heard it in french, it did'nt sound right but after googling it now, it makes sense.
She does speak like that, and maybe instead of paradis, she says Eridu, actually, I'm not sure.
But is that how we were supposed to get to the URL? Ok... Deduce the password from that, ok.
She does actually say "le royaume du paradis".
I saw GuestUser17's tweet (of the french message and translation from the **WEYLAND message) and though I went back and listened, it didn't ring any bells -- at first. I probably hadn't had enough TIC TACs yet.
It was actually the trailer that lead me to /eridu. That told me eridu must be important which was why I re-read the Eridu and Sumerian Creation Myth wiki pages and it was only then that the phrase "When kingship from heaven was lowered, the kingship was in Eridu" and "Then kingship descends from heaven..." finally stood out. Googling that phrase got me to Sumerian King List wiki with "After the kingship descended from heaven, the kingship was in Eridug and took me back to the french from the **WEYLAND call.

But then, that other link was straight from the timeline, how come they did'nt make us guess this one? And I think maybe they never thought we were gonna get to the Cosmic Call with 245409 and they intended us to find it thanks to the investor information. obviously they blew it.
Yeah, that was silly since the first thing that came up for me when searching "star 245409" was the Gliese 208 wiki page, then searching "HD 245409" gets you the Cosmic Call wiki page.
Maybe they meant to just link projectprometheus.com without the /245409 and goofed?

Some of the ancient writing looks like pills actually, or you could say... TicTacs®.
Anyway, I think they got scolded for leaving so many holes and inconsistencies across the sites, since you can't easily gamejack it now. The thumbnails use different names, and the interface looks more secure overall. Which is good, but not at this point...
Hopefully the answers for the next stages are more straightforward than the ones we've discovered now, so far the ONLY part of the game we've solved the right way has been the beginning, with the morsecode signal. Other than that, we've been either explicitly aided by them or bumped into it accidentally. I'm pretty sure it'll involve the Davids but not right now, we're gonna have to wait until the next video comes out, since we don't have enough information to do anything.

attached are two i find kinda interesting potentially puzzle-wise: symbols in the orrery and another spectranalysis image in the end.
update / edit: it appears that the spectranalysis ring + 'a' image is old. the screenshot i had of it were covered in credits.
I am no expert in ancient writing, but it sure seems to me that the symbols plainly visible in your screen cap, and to a lesser extent on the circling "tiles" in the wallpaper sized Orerry JPG may be Cuneiform writing. Could just be something to make it look ancient/modern at the same time, or maybe something more.
I'm certainly no expert either, but thats probably not cuneiform though it does look like some type of pictographic writing.
Oh, duh -- TIC TACS!

But I think what I'm never gonna get over is getting addicted to tic-tacs just because some drunk can't copy and paste a sequence of characters properly, comma on!!

But at this stage, it's either not activated or there's some trickery needed to get the password box to show.
the css code also shows an input box to place a password:
maybe they'll consolidate all the password logins to one page?
I just saw that in the css myself. Consolidating passwords entry to a single page would be simpler. For now, we have nowhere to try URLs/passwords since /24509 and /eridu have been taken down.
EDIT: https://www.weylandindustries.com/6EQUJ5/ hasn't been taken down. I guess we could still try weylandindustries.com/xxx and starstar.to/ though I'm not sure it'll get us anywhere since that password input box is in the css.
they've changed up stuff in the web server. interface.php (which was discovered by someone over on facebook) to perform jquery manual password entries in the url string is no longer there.
