The only legit reference to Yutan I have seen so far is in the Timeline, where its indicated that Weyland won a patent infringement suit against the Yutani 'start-up'.

Interestingly, this is in reference to the Davids..

And one last time, as I've said, is a word that can be made from the elements Y U Ta and Ni

We have answers to questions that haven't been supplied.

This might or might not come into play here, but I've also noticed certain allegorical resemblances between Pandora and the Ampule Room. Its not Prometheus that releases the larger threat against Mankind, its Pandora's act of opening the 'box'.

Pandora factors into the Prometheus mythos.

I think this page may hold a lot of answers and will be very helpful.

I haven't said much since the infograms were posted precisely because I have no clue what to do with those things. There's a lot of data, but without a context we're pretty much lost.

The only "rational" conclusion we could assume from the data discrepancies between the site and the downloadable pictures is that Weyland Industries have been beefing up their facts just to seem much better than they actually are, specially in the case of the Davids. A company would do something like that in order to attract possible investors, remember they have a very important project coming up, Project Prometheus. Yutani has been referenced in the timeline, so who knows. I doubt they'll be prominent at this point though, but probably very soon since the Alien crew is already familiar with it, and that was in 2085.

I didn't want to say it, but it's also possible that said differences weren't intentional, and that the designers simply forgot to update the jpg's. The PMs are aware of Unfiction and what we do here, so hopefully they've already read what we've been saying, and in that case, considering there haven't been any other changes, I guess it's safe to say it was intentional.

We might need to wait for a proper lead this time.

"bound not bound"

The only thing I can take from this is the reference to the ring Zeus made Prometheus wear on his finger after he was freed from the Caucasus rock by Hercules. The irng is said to have been made from his chains, forged by Hepheastus, or were made from the rock itself. Supposedly the first instance and a binding agreement, this was the progenitor of the wedding band.

The ring was made of: adamantine (?)

There are three prometheus plays:

Chapter one: Prometheus Bound

Chapter two: Prometheus Unbound

Chapter three: prometheus the Fire Bringer

possibly related (?): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Prometheus_F_ring_from_PIA08262_fr25_twice.ogv

YEP!

In the Greek Tragedy, Prometheus Bound translated by G. M. Cookson, Hephaestus is to bind Prometheus "to the jagged rocks in adamantine bonds infrangible."

this has got to be a lead. At last.

I'm stumped.

As a first time ARGer this sucks.

First movie that i've been interested in that actually has one of these and they basically screw it up from the start.

i'm thinking we have to click on the clickable things and get the right order or something?

I still don't know where else to go with this....

That's a bit harsh.
ARGs tend to be a bit more academically challenging than clicking on things. There will be a whole lot more to this than that. There already has been.
As just a casual follower of a few ARGs I'm confident "they" haven't screwed it all up (occasional typos and corrections notwithstanding), "they" are just revealing clues at a pace that requires a little patience, and an open mind.

This is true, ARG tend to rely on at least one of their player's being specialists in a certain area to spot patterns and clues.

The only thing I've managed to find is Y U Ta Ni which relates to EVERYTHING however it appears to be waaaaaay to convenient to some. I'm HOPING we all go down the Y U Ta Ni path so we actually get better clues in the future.

I've gone through every combination of date... especially those that fall on June. But nothing comes of it. I've stuck all the letters into an anagram generator but no dice.

I think the only thing I'm SURE about is that all the images we've found relate to the elements Aether, Earth, Air, Water and Fire. But that's two steps ahead of where we are now.

edit: if you're wondering why June, it's because it's the only number on the element table that could possibly be a month without jumbling up all the numbers.
