I don't think it's a coincidence considering a message was sent to the star HD 245409 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_Call), which is a very similar link to the "WOW!" message through which we found the picture in Weyland Industries' site.
But the way we found the second login link was by using clues from the trailer and not Orion, so I'll concede that point for the reasons I'll list below. The third login page (maybe there's one?) will actually be discovered through another unrelated clue.

Now, about the Starmap:
Two of the stars in the map (Gliese 86 and Zeta Eridani) are in the Eridanus constellation, and both have planets, recently discovered. The other two are in the Reticulum constellation (Zeta1 and Zeta2), with no discovered planets, and the other is in the Mensa constellation (Alpha Mensae). I'm excluding Sol for obvious reasons.

FOcusing on Eridanus, here's some history behind its name:

If you plot HD 245409 in the Orion constellation - it appears to be "The Eye Of Orion".

I've been reading that wiki article since you posted it, in detail, and while I'm not sure it's directly linked to this (since the first reference pointed to Orion and the second to a Sumerian city), the similarities and apparent links to Alien are definitely there.
Also I find that whole thing creepy as fuck. I wasn't aware of that abduction story.

Just fell into the deceitful realm of conspiracy theories, Nibiru/Planet X and such, and I came back more convinced that this movie will revolve around Sumerian Ancient Aliens, namely, Anunnaki, or at least they'll have an interesting role.

In any case, check this out:


This is one of many tablets depicting the Anunnaki (the guy sitting to the right), much taller than those to the left, which are supposed to be human. Now I don't know if this follows some of the rules for hieroglyphs in the sense of hierarchy or not, but if we interpret it literally, it means that the Anunnaki were taller than regular humans. This tablet is similar to the one depicted in the trailer, except that it has more "humans" to the left.

This might be related to the Gilgamesh myth ( King of Uruk ). He's the only Sumerian king that tried to attempt something similar to Prometheus. (at least metaphorical ).

The Isle of Sky is one of the filming locations. It looks very similar to the area Shaw and scarfman find the cave drawings featured on that tablet.

The two projectprometheus login pages each have their own directory, so they are probably separate for a reason. The only difference between their source code is that eridu has some google analytics code.

The other ones say Mesopotamia and Ugarit but those don't work either.

Okay enaxor, I think you nailed something here.
I saw in your screencap that, out of the 8 pictograms shown, the only one that overlaps over the rest in the trailer is the Sumerian one.

Now, look at what it says below it:
