Pretty sure they are referring to a glacier of some sort, since "le" implies French, and "looking glass" can translate to "glace," the same word for glacier.

Woot, got #13. Val Camonica in Italy. Kept finding it listed as Valcamonica and then decided to try one of the alternate spellings with the space.
