Hey gang, here is the situation. I know we are all part of the insant information, A.D.D. generation, and lose interest in half a minute if something slows down. If thats the case, then thanks for coming, see you on the next one. For the rest of us, it was brought to our attention that the PM behind this venture had become sick. (not flu sick mind you, but something that actually required hospitalization.) This was obviously unplanned and unforseen. There are some workings behind the scenes to get this back up and running, and from what I hear the PM is out of the hospital and is going to be fine, but as you can imagine, some reworking of the storyline is probably going to need to take place to explain the absence and the now 2 passed abduction dates.

I hope this helps to shed some light on what seems to have happened.
Patience is still a virtue right???

oh..sorry for that i didn't know it was that serious. I also do agree with dream. He should start over..again.

Honestly, if we already know THIS much about the PM, we've already crossed the fourth wall or some such. We've not just peeked behind the curtain; it's been thrown aside for everyone to gaze with sympathy.
My vote goes for just pressing reset and starting from the beginning again. Adjust dates as needed. Create a more comprehensible starting puzzle. Things of that nature.

[update] AAC Informer site

Sent an email to FBCA.

I am a reporter for an E-Newspaper about odd happenings. While the site is not up yet, I am curious about AAC Informer (http://aacinformer.com), a site about mysterious disappearences of children, and PandoraNext (http://pandoranext.com), a site that has been in a few conspiracy E-Magazines. They both appear to be suspended by the FBCA. I would like to be a member of the Press Releases list for updates sent via email.

Sincerely,
[update] AAC Informer site

Here is mine...

Hello,

My name is Indigo Ferret and I work for the Orange County Register in
Southern California. I have been doing some research into the
mysterious disappearances of children across the county for an article
that will be in print by the end of the month (if I can meet my
deadline, that is). Some of those disappearances were investigated by
a group that called themselves "Alien Abductions of Children" using
the website www.aacinformer.com to disseminate information about those
children.

I can't say that I believe these children were abducted by aliens,
mind you, but I was trying to tie this group's information into the
larger picture that I was developing for my piece. Now that your
organization has apparently halted the activities of AAC, I feel like
the information they provided may not actually be valid at this point.

May I ask why AAC has been shut down? If I can trust the veracity of
the data that they have provided me to this point, then I can continue
working on my piece, but if I need to throw AAC's information out, I
will have to take my piece in a somewhat different direction and may
miss my deadline in the process. Any information you can provide me
with respect to AAC would be greatly appreciated.

On a side note, per the Press Room section of your website, can you
send me any press releases your agency has published in 2004?

Thanks again in advance for you help.

[update] AAC Informer site

I wrote, too. Here's the text of my message (sorry, it was a really quick composition and I had a full plate at work today):

To whom it may concern:

I was a frequent visitor to a site that dealt with the mysterious
disappearances of children around the country,
http://www.aacinformer.com. They had sent me the following email
soliciting donations for their work:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Recipient,

Perhaps you aren't familiar with our program. AAC Informer is a
non-profit organization that provides information on abducted
children. We do this via a web site. In order to fund the operation,
we have to receive a certain amount of donations. We are writing you
to inquire as to whether you would be interested in donating $5 or $10
to help us, and the families of the lost children. If you would be
interested, please contact us. Otherwise, please disregard this
e-mail.

Thank you,

PR
AAC Informer

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My interest was piqued, and I was keeping track of this organization's
progress regarding the abductions. Recently, however, all information
from that site has disappeared, replaced with the FBCA logo. Why has
the FBCA taken over the site? Was this organization not legitimate?
Were they a potential danger to citizens of this country?

Regards,
Michael

Whether the FBCA responds to our emails, who knows? But according to Lt. Boomer on the IU Boards, the FBCA knows about us:

If the FBOCA follows the procedure they kept to before, we all recieved emails letting us know that we were under surveilance, complete with a whole bunch of personal info to let us know that they indeed knew who we were..........so keep your eyes peeled.

[update] AAC Informer site

I e-mailed the FBoCA yesterday via their press e-mail address, it went a little something like this:

Greeting. I am a reporter for the Louisiana Times Picayune, and I recently became aware that your agency is investigating the prestigous "PandoraNext" corporation. There have also been rumors that this investigation is somehow tied to a conspiracy website known as "AAC Informer".
I am considering running an article on the matter, and I would appreciate any comment from the FBoCA on the issue. Specifically, I was hoping you could clarify the following questions:

1. What has PandoraNext done to merit investigation?
2. What connection, if any, is there to AAC Informer?
3. Do you have any comment concerning the rumors of mysterious abductions lately?
4. What is the alleged "Security Breach" that is displayed on the websites?

Thank you for your time gentlemen, and I hope you see fit to reply promptly. My article runs on February 15th.

Sincerely,
ClessNess

Hopefully I'll get a reply, though I can't say I'm very optimistic about it.

i was searching up the date 1928 and abductions, and I found a magazine called "AMAZING" which publishes stuff about sci fi
it has lots of qoutes about missing children too, so it might be helpful
(Children vanish MORE FREQUENTLY than any other group. We're not talking about ordinary runaways. In August, 1869, thirteen children vanished in Cork, Ireland. No sign of kidnapping or foul play. The same month there was a wave of disappearing children in Brussels, Belgium. Another group of youngsters melted away in Belfast in August, 1895. And again in August, 1920, eight girls (all under twelve years of age) disappeared forever in Belfast...)

Maybe we should send the gentlemen over at the FBOCA (worse than CIA, not nearly as bad as TCON:TLTWATW) an email to ask what exactly they're doing over at Pandora Next and the AAC. Goodness, it's like an acronym smorgasbord.

I think I may go ahead and email FBOCA, if only because there's not much else to do at this point.
After all, [famous last words] what's the worst that could happen? [/famous last words]

By the way, what's TCON: TLTWATW?

[update] AAC Informer site

I am not sure if the FBOCA site is actualy in play yet or not, it doesn't look like anything on it has been updated since AWARE. You can even get to the secure part of the site (without a password , just www.fboca.org/secure ) and see the info from Aware is still up.

The FBOCA was a covert government agency that was investigating the bombing of the Ideltech building, the deaths of Marty, Jude , and Thad, and also looking into the crimes perpatrated by Alecia Church and the Omniscieneyes group. They did end up arresting Alecia. I believe they were good, (well as good as a secret branch of the government can be...).

Hope that helps a bit.

I wasn't around for Aware. Can anyone give us a short synopsis of FBOCA? Good guys? Bad guys? Trustworthy or not?

A brief search of the Aware archives shows that FBOCA has their own main page at http://www.fboca.org/main/ . I wonder if we should submit Sean's lead to them regarding the abductions?
