available positions

right I just found this, handt noticed it before so thought it might be new:

http://www.sinclairetechnologies.com/careers.php?positions

its a link from the applications page.

came up with this that I think we have to solve:

5(71 -u) + 82 + 66 _ 15 (85) + 1 * (105 - b + 8 ) + (81 - L) = ???

theres some other jobs that might mean something, this looked like an obvious puzzle though.

this is the page source of the equation:

5(71 -u) + 82 + 66 _ 15 (85) + 1 * (105 - b + 8) + (81 - L) = ???

what does that .php mean, I have no idea bout HTML looked in an odd place though

[Update] - 12 July 05

I noticed that on the Sinclaire Technologies homepage the News Releases section had changed to just show the release from 07/07.

Opening this release again and viewing the source shows another message:

Except I don't!! :dunno:

Anyone any ideas?

Update 05th July - Merger Official

The LegionPharma website has been updated with a new news article:

http://www.legionpharma.com/media.php?0705

The article states
Per the impending buyout agreement, LegionPharmaceuticals has made available all open or active project research files. Access to these files is limited to existing investors and partners, please email projects@legionpharma.com for more information.

I sent an email requesting open and active research files and got the following reply:

Thank you for emailing projects at LegionPharma.com,

Your investor information has been processed and your specific login information is available below. The project lookup system correlates directly with the LegionPharma information brochure that you or your company received while touring the LegionPharma Thornhill facility.

To access the project lookup system, please visit this URL:
http://www.legionpharma.com/investors.php?project_search

Enter the following case sensitive password: LP_pr0jects

At the project search page, enter your LegionTEK / LegionPharma project name, and associated case file id to retrieve relevant research files.

Any issues or concerns, please contact Greg, our webmaster at the address included in your information brochure.

Thank you for your continued support of LegionPharmaceuticals.

Regards,
Justin McKinnley
JMcKinnley@LegionPharma.com
V.P. Public Relations
Legion Pharmaceuticals

Visiting the Url given
http://www.legionpharma.com/investors.php?project_search

and entering the password given in the email leads to a secondary page (Project Case File Search) where a project name and case file need to be entered.

I entered from the picture of the "Robot/Mech Armour" found already at http://www.legionpharma.com/about.php?31L361813R

Charon as the Project Name and 3209525 as the case file and this leads to this page:

http://www.legionpharma.com/investors.php?project_retrieval

Not got further with the codes as yet.

Also, viewing the source of the the update gives us the following:

Final Note - going back to the email I presume we now know who G is and what he does =
G - Greg = Webmaster who apparantly can be contacted at the address given in the information brochure given while touring LegionPharma. I am now going to email them again to advise I have lost mine and see if they can forward a replacement.

Key to the City - Objects in browser are bigger

Okay, we all know about the Key to the City page when you enter Demosthenes. I've searched the forums and found very little reference to anyone actually DOING anything with this picture. :-)

I've been studying it and thinking about it all day (yes, I actually have to work today being in Canada...), and the title made me really think.

The key to the city - could this mean a key for a map? The only thing I could think of was to overlay it with a map of some part of Dallas-Fort Worth, but I'm afraid my graphic talents are severely lacking. :-P

Also, if you flip the image over vertically, in the bottom right you get a pretty clearly defined image of a computer chip. It also rights the building the chip is part of - and becomes the only one that is right-side-up.

Hope this clicks in someone else's mind.....

The Story So Far

Okay, here's where we are at the moment.

The original rabbithole was http://www.sin2.com/, parts of which (The ... of the link for instance) lead us to the main site for this game, http://www.legionpharma.com

The first puzzle was from the front page, and had "First is the KEY!" and a code (P12-66/P1-13/P2-3/P6-39/P3-9/P4-4/P5-8/P7-14/P8-45/P9-6/P10-12/P11-45), which was decoded (With the page linked and a little scripting) to say "ELEXISISBACK", confirming that this is indeed Sin2.

The second puzzle was the second news item posted in the Media Relations section, which had highlighted pieces of text (With code), and when the document was decoded (And the pieces placed in alphabetical order) we got the URL http://www.legionpharma.com/about.php?4yoUreyesonly

Then we were lead (From a new news article, and a change to the Eyes image on 4yoUreyesonly) to use Camouflage to decode the splash image. This then gave us the keyword entry page about.php?U4foreverybody

The next puzzle (Which we are working on now) is that we have to find 9 keywords (To plug into the page about.php?U4foreverybody)

So far, we have found "Genome" (From "First is the KEY" and "LegionPharma first in Genome research"), "Demosthenes" (From the MP3 on the Genome page, "Doom" (Not sure where that came from, anyone?) and "Money" (Got from plugging in random words)

We have also found other items at "Uh4xedmy3y3s!SiliconNitrogen" (14 7 being given MANY times, which in the periodic table is the elements Silicon and Nitrogen (Si & N)), and at bloody_path.php (Gotten from the equation on the careers page, and the Uh4xedmyeyes link)

Decoding the Binary (And un-ROT13'ing the text) at bloody_path.php gave us a phone number to call (A FAA information line for pilots), which had some information we were supposed to listen out for.

If anyone else has anything to add, please feel free to post it in here, to make sure we're all caught up.
