No-one seems to have posted on this yet, so here goes:

I have been having a look at the maps on the reverse of the cards, and at the pieces of map that were in the tour guide, and have been able to join some of them together.

I have joined three sets of pieces as so:

074 + 138 + front page middle row third from left

170 + front page top row second from left

219 + front page top row third from left and 9.30 am

Would someone let me know if there is a way to attach these so they dont show???

Shuffled - upside down

Hi,

I was just assembling a map from the backs of the puzzle cards and I noticed that the map on the back of my Shuffled is upside down. Does anyone else have an upside-down one?

Well, I've spent the last few days getting the Perplex City Map from the back of the cards to work in the Google Maps API. So far, you can scroll around and zoom (there are 4 zoom levels, with the closest being the 60dpi that we all know and love). To zoom in on a specific point, double click it in the zoomed out view to centre it, then zoom in with the buttons.

If there's enough interest I will add things like popup markers for all the info boxes, a search function for important places, and if I go real crazy maybe the ability to search for streets.

With the new wave of cards, the map on the reverse of the cards is now a lot clearer...

However, laying out all your cards on the floor is hardly easy, and whilst this site is great, it's not the easiest to use, and the low res restriction makes some bits of text hard to read.

What I thought would be nice would be for Mind Candy to send us a large full-colour poster version of the map once you'd collected (or perhaps solved) all the cards...? So, Mind Candy, if you're reading, how about it?

Could the whole deck be used to hold a message? Are the cards ordered? Is there any reference to a deck other than that the cards exist?

I was wondering if someone with all the current cards (plus a whole lot of time) would be able to make consistent scans (i.e. same image size/colour balance) of the backs of all the cards.

It would make our online map look a whole lot nicer and I'm sure everyone would be eternally grateful for whoever steps up :D

Is it relevant that in the descriptive box for Horizon Drive there is a misspelling of Ocean so it comes out COEAN?

In case you have not yet seen it, the card catalog now has a single page that lists all of the map piece backs that it is aware of:

The content is as accurate as what I have gleaned from the message boards and what people have uploaded. (Several entries have their text truncated because that's how it was posted in the forums.)
