I'm LOVING the State College references here. The author has to have had lived in SC before, she's got the area down quite well.

However, I actually drove past Port Matilda on my way to a wedding today in Hollidaysburg. A

I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about the blackberry Jane gave me. She's shrewd, I'll give her that. It was a perfect way for her to keep tabs on me. The first time I used it, I emailed her to tell her I was following Simone. Jane must have called Simone right away because she promptly took me for a two hour drive up the coast. I'll bet they had a good chuckle about that.

well, duh!!! and she is still using it ! :roll:

Grrr, I posted this once and the power went out just as I was going for the submit button.

Am I missing something?

Tom talks about Casey in his latest email like he knows him. "If I can listen to Casey drone on about Journalism and Ethics without committing a major felony" and "I don't think I can handle Casey sober". Did I miss a connection between Casey and Tom?

The only other mention I remember was from email #84 where Kathleen says "Maybe you can persuade Jane to come. I had no luck. She told me it was either her or Casey Rudolph."

I guess Tom could have seen Casey listed on some sort of Speaker list, but he seems to know more of him. Does this support the idea that Tom is Jane? Or did I miss some other connection somewhere?

Man, they are really pushing the "Jane is evil" aspect. I'm beginning to suspect that it's not really her that's involved. Maybe it's her assistant, Bonnie, who presumably would have access to all the same info Jane has about Sam.

Hello all, I'm really enjoying the read, and I'm digging unfiction.com as well. I've been lurking, but wanted to pop in and see what you all thought about this.

Reading #57, I just realized another reason that Sam should not use the Blackberry that Jane lent her.

How To - Automatically send a copy of messages sent from the handheld to another email account

There's another article about setting it up on the server side as well, and Sam would never know.

Sure she stopped telling Jane where she was going directly, but Jane could have set up the Blackberry to BCC her on any mails Sam sent.

Hence why Fulla did not show up at the cafe.

Update: #58 provides another solution, and very plausable, as for Fulla's no show. But I still contend Sam should stop using the Blackberry.

Anyone's thoughts?
