So unlike the last couple of weeks, in which Lucky instructed us to wait until the tournament was over before pursuing his special favor -- and to bring the tournament winners along -- this week Lucky has gone back to permitting us to do the favor "during the second half of the tournament, or after the tournament finishes." Personally, I'd like to finish the tournament first, but I'll go along with the majority. What do people think?

Regarding the hat - here is my hope:

I'm going to get the box & pack it up tomorrow (with a notebook that will travel along with it). I want to send it to San Francisco for those participating in the Tombstone event to all get their picture taken (and sign the notebook).

Then I'd really like someone who traveled there from out of town to bring the hat back with them (and take pictures with other members back home) then get it off to someone in Washington DC in time for that Tombstone event - same deal - give folks a chance to get their picture with the hat (and sign the notebook).

Following the Washington DC event will someone please send it on to the UK to someone who will arrange a gathering in your own version of Tombstone Poker (same story - pictures, sign the notebook, etc) and then send it onward. Do we have a contingent in Europe (a common gathering spot)? This gives us about two weeks to get around the old world - I'm not sure we can continue going East through New Zealand & Australia and then South America fast enough - or can we? This will take lots of postage and airmail to make it happen .

My only caveat about this world traveling is how to make sure it gets back to someone in Los Angeles in time for the last Tombstone event on Nov 19th . Can we do this?????

After that, we can help it criss-cross back and forth across the states for the rest of the year. As long as it eventually ends up back in Las Vegas (and I"ll bring it out for the holy swag altar every ARGFest).

Edit to add:
hmrpita answered the call first - the hat will travel to SF on Tuesday.

The weather was beautiful, but unfortunately I got rather sunburned in the process... I never would have thought I'd need to wear sunscreen in November! I really need to adapt to this crazy Southern weather.
