Is Triskabiblios an ARG? If so, I am tired of the " puppetmaster " constantly abusing this board by repeatedly posting to this game forum, including posting as if he were just another player following along.

This puppetmaster does, however, appear to be inspired by ARGs yet unhappy with some of the conventions that have come to be accepted in the genre. So he bills his as an "Actual Reality Game" instead, which, as far as I can tell, means "an ARG where I can ignore rules like 'no posting to uF by puppetmasters.'"

Then again, according to his blog maybe it's just a budding cult:
Show me an existing ARG on the 'market' that aims, however ambitiously, to offer such a potential positive benefit to Humanity? I am not being egotistical, I will release details of the proposed structure of the Triskabiblios Trust - in which funds are split into 3rds, one being dedicated to charity, one being used to finance the player's personal improvement projects, and the final third being used to continue the game, soon.

I have no clue what "benefit to Humanity" this game offers. Rather, it seems to be more about the puppetmaster asking players to perform questionable tasks, playing schoolyard games with any players who voice displeasure in how his effort is progressing, and generally acting like King Turd of Pootown.

Anyway, I'm tired of it, the mods and admins are tired of it, and I'm fairly certain more than one player is tired of it.

I haven't locked out a game forum since RedKore; perhaps Mr. Vibration13 will also consider this an honor.

My apologies to any players this may inconvenience. I understand that there is a new forum over at IU where you may continue your discussions, if you so desire.

The text says that the pictures on Kelly's walls tell a story. Perhaps when we find Kelly, she'll not only have Book Zero, but her walls will give us some important info.

Just got in to work, what with Hurricane Wilma and everything. Going to catch up on things, but I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to do much for the next couple of days. Water seeped in throught doors, and a window smashed by a golfball. So, I'll do what I can when I'm free.

Good luck with everything. Hope it all turns out okay.

On the petal of the flower here http://www.vibration13.com/triskabiblios/london/kelly.php

"Sister" is written in an anagram. Could this Kelly be Izlington's sister?

Welshmam,

That hinge you received...I wonder if it is necessary to make the door Kelly needs.

Just some thoughts.

As spotted by draghkar:

If you go to http://www.oldredliontheatre.co.uk/tlml/production (the Red Lion), then Trick or Treat, then go to the pictures link on that page, you'll see the following:

http://www.leftwithpictures.co.uk/Pic%20Pages/baby%20me%20page.htm

Which seems like a familiar phrase!

Furthermore, if you head to http://leftwithstu.proboards31.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1128763696 there's a post about time travel, followed up by 'Tobes'. I imagine it must be Toby Knowles (part of their band), but it's an odd coincidence nonetheless.

May well be a red herring, but worth mentioning I think :)

Is it a weird coincidence that the day before I found Triskabiblios I ordered a copy of 'The Annotated Alice' (Alice in Wonderland with all kinds of footnotes and historical info.) from half.com? Or are there any weird coincidences? :D Anyway, if anyone wants me to look anything up, just ask.
(I see Incog Neato's picture on page 73! )
Also, I'm a master spiral painter. No kidding. I'll get a picture on here later...

The other night (in our chat with Toby) we were informed that Book Zero is not needed to find the 13 books.

It would be nice to find Book Zero.....but the quest for the 13 would continue whether we do or not.

Carry on.....

You can look at http://www.vibration13.com/triskabiblios/london/lastsighted.jpg for a larger version of the image - the text on the poster appears to be 'normal service will resume!'.

Edit: Have people noticed that http://www.vibration13.com/triskabiblios/london/london.jpg is a corrupt jpeg file (it appears to have been truncated)?

Edit 2: Did a search for 'red lion' in islington, and it found this one: http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/54/5431/Old_Red_Lion/Islington - wonder if John works there?
