[EMAIL] Dale Please Read This

Here's my reply (for what it's worth).

Hi Dale,
I know sometimes things seem like they are hopeless. But there is
always a light at the end of the tunnel. There is always the shiny
side of the coin. Perhaps Klepsydra Mental Hospital can help? Or
just the ear of a good friend. Do you have any close friends or
family you can talk to?
If not, sometimes blogging helps to get things off your chest.
I'm a pretty good listener. [insert phone number]
Hugs,
Heather

I'm not sure if we will get any replies (and thus continue onward with this Alternate Reality). There was one email on Anonymous Fame (sales) and it bounced back last nite. There are lots of broken links on the "new" websites.

[META] AIN is a different server outside the control of the PM. I don't even think they (the PMs) can delete an account - so this becomes a game liability since it should have changed at the same time as Aglaura's reality.

[EMAIL] Wes 9/28 - "I know what has to be done"

Damn, looks as if I missed endgame. Ah, well. My custom stuff from Wes came in a separate email. For archival purposes:

Sorry Shadow, answered your other email and didn't see this till now.
I think you may be on to something about the relationships between Sam, Turing Principle, and Marzent, and hopefully we'll get to the bottom of the whole thing tonight.

About the masks, it seems to me they were chasing the masks themselves for whatever reason, which is why I think they left Sarah alone, since it was very public via the news reports that she didn't have them any longer.

I have to run, but will be in touch later.

Hi:

Please, even though you don't know me, I pray that you will take the
time to
read this message. I'm in trouble and have no one else to turn to. A
mutual
friend suggested you as somehow who might be able and willing to help
me.

You see, tonight I tried to kill myself. I didn't go through with it
obviously,
but I had the gun against my head and everything. There's way too much
to put
into a short email, especially when you don't even know me. But it
comes down
to the fact that I've lost everything of value to me and am in a
situation with
no apparent way out.

And yet, I still couldn't go through with it. Something inside me won't
let me
give up, and so I'm reaching out to others who may be able to help,
something
I've avoided all my life. I know deep in my heart that life is worth
living,
and that killing myself is not the answer.

Damn, damn, damn.

The female Sam is calling herself Turing Principle and she's known
about
Marzent's plans for a while. She's been helping us because she didn't
want
things to go back to the way the were, and become a machine again. But
something has changed inside her, from working with and helping us. She
says
she can't watch us all die, no matter what it means happens to her.

She said she knows that the masks are the key, and that once they are
in the
hands of six people who believe, the wish will be restored and put an
end to
all of this.

I don't know what that means for all of us but Simon is furious.

She's reaching into the box.

Whatever happens, thank you all. We tried. I hope we did enough.

She's holding the mask and she just said, "I believe"

us, this Sam entity, me, Keith everyone. They killed Brad, Diana, all to
protect their secret knowledge. And now they are going to kill us
all, wipe out
anyone who?s discovered their existence, and the existence of the Wish. I?m
[EMAIL] Sarah Sept. 29 Worried about "the boys"

What I sent:

Mask of Man
Dearest Sarah,
As you know, the masks you created were endowed with the powers of The Wish.
If you haven't hear yet, Sam Greene has the Mask of Man.
Dale, Bruce and Wes think that Sam is involved with Marzent's plan to use Aglaurian resources and location for an experiment to open a portal to other dimensions.
I need to tell you that I don't trust Wes.
Your dreams led us to mystes, and I thought they were good. They wanted the one who seeked their secret knowledge, and I thought that was Wes.
I'm the one who betrayed him by informing the mystes of his location on the night that Wes and Sam were to meet.
But, I guess that I was wrong. Luckily, someone else tipped off Wes of what had happened and he was safe (of which, I was relieved)

As I count you as a friend, I needed to tell you all that.

Sarah, I'm very happy for you're newly found optimistic outlook and wish nothing but good things for you.

Your friend,
Drizabella

My dear Drizabella,

I'm sitting here biting my nails to find out what's happening with "The Boys"
who are off on some wild adventure to try to get to the bottom of what's wrong
with Aglaura. I can't pretend I understand even a little bit of it, but every
fiber of my being is suffused with the avid hope that they come through
unscathed. I can understand your reservations about Wes, but I assure you -
he's the same good guy I always knew, and he's absolutely trustworthy.

Anyway, remind me tomorrow to ask you for your mailing information so
that I can
get this tongue to you. It's certainly not doing me much good sitting
here and
collecting dust, and I think you should have it as a reminder that it was your
good and gentle words that brought me through the storm into the sunshine.

As long as I live, I shall never forget what a good friend you were to me. I
don't know how to thank you enough. I turn my face to the sun and bask in its
glow. And I thank you from my heart for your well-wishes.

Love,
Sarah

Sept 28 - What they find at the Marzent Complex

Hold on and bear with me now, this maybe a little hard to take in and
understand. I?m not sure I understand completely what just happened
here yet
but I wanted to let you know that we are OK, and hopefully we?ve
averted any
threat there was. As crazy as this sounds, what we found here was Sam,
the real
Sam from before, from before everything changed. I remember now, Sam,
the old
Sam, was fascinated by the Turing Principle entity before, and talked
about how
sometimes he wished he could be like that, in terms of connectivity and
knowledge. I think his wish was fulfilled when everyone else changed,
and he
became this thing, much like the Turing Principle from before.

This new Sam has told us that he began remembering that he had been
human at
some point, without much detail, and in just very small flashes, in
periods
where he knew he had lost something priceless. As he began to recall
what
happened before, he came up with this plan, to somehow capture and use
the
power of the Wish to change everything back, and in doing so restore
his
humanity. Because the only model it had were the fragments it recalled
from
what happened before, much of what it did echoed those earlier events
in eerie
ways, but as it recalled more and more, more of the real Sam crept in
too,
until when he came face to face with all of us, his old friends, he
finally
recalled everything. And more importantly, he?s agreed to shut down the
machinery that?s about to blow us all to kingdom come.

Wait, hold on. There?s something wrong.

The systems and machines aren?t shutting down. And he doesn?t seem to
know
what?s going on.

Damn it, he says he can?t control it.

Wait, something?s happening to the computer screen here. There?s a
message
coming through, from Simon from that MYSTES group. Damn him, he said
that they
are controlling things now and
