it was just noticed that IMDB now has a preliminary episode list of 4 shows for "Fallen", starting Wednesday June 6 '07. There's no cast reference to "Faith" (at this point?)

Everything began to come about AFTER the first movie, Do you think things will pop up again after these three appear? There ARE four books, Shouldn't there be four movies? I hope that's not it with Faith. The Cloculas will allign Sunday and Saturday.

After weeks of waiting, we get wrap-up post and a lame video message from our favorite psychic gay classical music-enthusiast explaining that she is the reincarnation of Mozart.

Then we get a survey from the PMs (Xenophile Media) asking what we thought.

If I don't stop typing right now, I will likely explode upon this page a stream of obscenity which would get me banned.

I have been in touch with Kane Winthrop, who will be sending out an update soon. Unfortantely, there is no news about Faith at this point. My cards tell me, however, that all is not lost. In my most recent reading, they revealed that there is going to be some communication from a third party that will be critical to finding out what has happened to her, and what is yet to come.

Tell everyone to hang in there and keep the faith!

According to EWO's latest email update, he and his design team are working with Faith to allow her a live (video) chat with all those involved and helping her, at www.oculareffect.com, at 9pm ET tonight.

Questions are being discussed in the OE forums .

Faith is currently in Australia, a bit freaked out, and now knows about 00112358.net, and that she's being followed, but doesn't know where to go now. Hopefully more direction will come out in the chat tonight.

Megiddo just informed me that he found a myspace profile that has Xenophile Media in the companies, and has the name of one 'Steph Waller' as a founder.

If you recall Lostpedian's comments about "Madam Steph's photos" on flickr, you'll also notice that the controversial 'faitharella' account now has ' Steph Waller ' also listed as a contact. (you may also notice me as a contact, but that's beside the point, because I have a flickr account)

You can browse Steph's photos and such.

But wait! It gets juicier (read on before pouncing about the meta issues)...

Now, in looking up more on these leads, I came across Alla Breve's website at http://www.allabreve.org, wherein you can find on the 'Artists' page, a section for Steph Waller, with numerous links related to her.

She has a circus history, and moved into tarot reading at a younger age...

My own father was a clown and he taught me that art when I was a small child, but in my early twenties I traded the grease paint and rubber nose for the Tarot cards and I found that I had a gift for seeing into other people's experiences, past lives, and especially into their visions and dreams. I left my father's circus parades behind and joined the Renaissance Faires, reading fortunes in the gypsy tents and performing as a white-face toubadour.

It seems we have another 'real life' character, just like DVJ Charles Kriel, in this little mystery of ours :D (meaning, just as we followed a symbol on Kriel's site and only focused on that, one could potentially go way off track if we follow Steph's many real-world references - so we should stick to in-game references as the important stuff)

It still doesn't explain the owner of the 'faitharella' flickr account, but at least we know who Madam Steph is. And she's real. :o

[UPDATE] 8/24 More incidents in Australia

Faith and Mike visited the place where Mike was carjacked and assaulted.

In the quicktime vr image on Faith's new blog ( here ), the man with a white hat can be seen in the background, again.

During a campfire that night that Faith recorded for a while, we find out that Mike has had a tune in his head since the assault, which he's playing on his guitar (the tune might have a purpose soon).

Overnight, Mike's journal was stolen, which contained the symbols he's been seeing since waking up in a hospital 3 weeks after the assault.

Mysterious tracks are found in the sand leading from Mike's bag, which disappear suddenly, in the middle of nowhere. At this point Faith and Mike and pretty much freaked out.

Driving back, Mike claims to see a black car a few times in the rear-view mirror which Faith does not see.

On pulling over to stretch, Faith finds a note mysteriously laying beside their car with the name of the lawyer from Seattle who gave her the cheque, and their departure is fearfully hastened.

The name wasn't revealed though, not in the video linked on her blog, or in her blog text itself.

(also based on past patterns, we're likely in for another vision soon - the first was July 17, the second was Aug 8, then Aug 16, making the next likely today or tomorrow, since Faith sounds like she's ready to leave Australia... where to go?)

[META] Dozens of spoilery pics found

I'm making this post because several people have asked how I came across dozens of Faith's pictures that had not yet been linked from any game pages.

First off, I apologize to anyone who may feel this was underhanded or spoiled some story points. When playing an ARG, it is sometimes difficult to know exactly what we are "supposed" to look for, find, and post about.

My discovery of these pictures actually began on August 11. Faith had posted some pictures at the top of the "Gibsonton" blog entry. I noticed that they were under the http://www.faitharella.com/images/tampa/ directory and all named "IMG_####.jpg", like how many digital cameras auto-number pictures. I wondered if there were any more that weren't being shown, so I tried a few filenames and did find some new pictures. I then generated a simple HTML page that would show any images numbered 1000-2500. While there were many little red X's, I found about 25 images that we'd not seen before. None of them were spoilery, just shots around town. I kept this find secret mostly because I did think that in the future it would come in handy. Faith eventually posted most of these Tampa pictures in other blog entries and this compilation .

Then she went to Australia. I tried many possible directory paths (replacing "tampa" with australia, clarencepark, and adelaide) and number ranges, but no luck. Finally, in "The Miracle Mile" post, she put up some new shots. I now knew the images were uploaded to "adelaide" and knew the number ranges. When I created my html page and ran it, over 120 images were visible. Some were simply nice photographs of the things around Adelaide (very nice work, I might add) but I'd now found several images which were likely semi-spoilerish, but with no context.

I created a thread on the Oculareffect.com forums, showing much of what I'd found. I felt there was a chance that finding these was "in-game", but I freely admit that I felt it more likely they were unintentionally revealed. I wanted to post about it at this point mostly because, if they were spoilery, TPTB needed to make sure they fixed their process before we found something that really killed the ending. The thread I created was eventually deleted this morning and TPTB plugged the hole by removing (or hiding?) all the images from faitharella.com that weren't meant to be seen yet.

For now, there is apparently a mirror of these interesting images at http://www.flickr.com/photos/faitharella . These pictures may not have been intended, but I think everyone agrees that it really made the game exciting for the day.

You can also get the first episode of Who Wants to Be a Superhero for free on iTunes, which is infinitely more entertaining. I love that show.
