To Unfiction CTW Players:
I still haven't really recovered yet from CTW so this is not going to be a long and philosophical reflection on the game or the experience; that will be coming later or perhaps covered in post game chats.
I did, however, very quickly, just want to thank you all for your support of the game. Knowing that so many people truly enjoyed playing Chasing The Wish and maybe even learned a few things too is icing on the cake, for just the process of creating and running the game has been a greatly rewarding and fulfilling journey for me. And I, too, have learned a great deal and opened doors to new and exciting things in my future. So thank you all very, very much.
A few quick notes for everyone going through CTW withdrawal:

(1) Check out the CTW main website and click on the right half of the moon. It should take you to a very special new page. This may help the people who have been writing me and telling me they feel like they lost a good friend. Well, you can still talk to her if you want (hint, hint).
(2) There are a few post game interviews already scheduled with a couple of gaming websites and I'd certainly be willing to do a post game chat here or combined with the entire player base. Feel free to e-mail me at cabal@chasingthewish.com if you would like to make arrangements.
(3) There is one special post game event already planned, that will include some new and previously unseen CTW material that will be reminiscent of the CTW mini-quest and will involve giving away some one-of-a-kind CTW production materials and swag. Stay tuned for more details.
(4) I'd love to hear your comments about the overall CTW experience, both good and bad, and would like to be able to use some on the CTW website and in future promotional materials. Please e-mail me at cabal@chasingthewish.com with your feedback about the game.

I guess that's long enough for a "quick" message. There will be further updates to the main CTW website soon, including the Credits for the game and links to reference materials and the like. There will also be some exclusive information about my future projects.

Based on the criteria from the poem on the greywethers.net page, and using the site list found at http://www.megalith.ukf.net/alpha.htm , and after much sorting and selecting (and a whole bunch of other data manipulation), I came up with the following list of stone circle sites that meet the requirements:

Achanarras Hill = CNARUSI

Aird Sleitenish = ARDLNIH

Beinn A Chaolais = BECHOLAS

Bellmount Lower = BMUNTLWR

Clach Na Tiompan = LHTIOMPA

Derrynafinchin = DEYAFCHN

Doune Of Dalmore = UNFALMOR

Logie Coldstone = GICSTON (GNOSTIC, COSTING)

Penshiel Grange = PSHILRAE (HARELIPS)

Ravensdale Park = VNSDLPAK

Only two of these sites anagram to anything meaningful - Logie Coldstone (GNOSTIC & COSTING) and Penshiel Grange (HARELIPS).

Unfortunately, trying these as passwords for a variety of user names (shadowtalk1, greenknight, and psammead) did not grant access.

I suSPECt that the user name is one of these (most likely GNOSTIC), and the password is yet to be determined based on those arithmetic puzzles found before.

A couple of people have mentioned that they wish there was a "Story So Far" thread for CTW. I've been keeping a daily update going over at CD and I have been backing it up on my site. For those of you who don't frequent CD, feel free to peruse my backup copy. Basically, its a daily recap of what has happened in CTW, every day since the beginning. I'll warn you it's not as pretty as Aveena's, but it works for my purposes....

The Last Broadcast

For those of you who enjoyed the CTW storyline about the Pine Barrens and the New Jersey Devil, the IFC (Independent Films Channel) is showing The Last Broadcast today. It's a documentary-style film about three men that go into the Barrens to hunt for the Devil...and only one survives.

It's on today at 2pm eastern (right now) and will be re-broadcast at 4:30am eastern for the insomniacs and those who want to record it while they sleep.

Hope you can help. Let's say a man has experienced a trauma, and has created another identity in his mind. His is confined to a hospital room, so he cannot wander off, as is normally the case if someone has this condition. He is living a normal, day to day life in his mind, very similar to the one he had before his trauma. He is not comatose, but minimally responsive to the doctors, family, etc. Could, in theory, a psychiatrist hypnotize this man to find out exactly what is going on in his mind?

CTW BTS Roles

It was great being a part of the BTS (Behind the Scenes) team working on Chasing the Wish . Due to the medium (video) used by my character, most knew I was involved with the game throughout, but we're all wondering who was behind the curtain.

After the PM Chat, Dave said we could share what our responsibilities were on the BTS team, even though the credits aren't up yet . Let's put them here in spoilers so we can try to guess.
