What ?! I'm gone for a second and then so is everyone else when I come back? How'd that happen? Did everyone else get lost and wonder where everyone went? Why don't we continue here! This seems to be where most people are right now!

whining, pouting, boycotting

With all the whining, pouting, boycotting, etc.....I would think that the people in charge would be less inclined to do anything else in the lines of a mystery game.

I stumbled across this site whilst looking for my OWN clues, not trying to get easy answers and have been checking in since the end of the GAME to see if anyone else had gotten their letter. And Yes I am one of the 6000+ winners. Should I send my winnings back and tell them to keep it since not everyone that played had fun?

For gosh sake people, it was a game for entertainment purposes. Did you really think any one person would win it? The puzzles were such that children could answer them.

Get a life! I sure hope that those that are whining here don't participate with the next game....

I was really surprised - and touched - by the amount of interest in my husband's disappearance and by all the support I received. Over 30,000 people tried to help me and my son Max and 6,013 actually solved the mystery all the way through. I am working on sending out the reward money.

I hope you got something out of it, too - beyond just receiving a reward. And don't go too far. I have a sneaking suspicion that things are still not right, what with Sonia's disappearance and all, and next time things could get a lot more complicated.

Do I understand correctly that we have to send a SASE to the gamers in order to find out that we have won?

That will give us our---as well as every other winners'---personal info? Real names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers???

Court TV, Applebee's, DF or whomever had better notify US, rather than put us through the hazard of wriitng them. Not to mention the postage costs.

I have patiently enjoyed this game but if this is how they're ending it I protest loudly.

I got the same email. 6,013 winners will split $25,000.00 by my calculations that comes out to $4.16 apiece.
I haven't decided what to do with my winnings...Hmmm? Maybe I'll open a shelter for battered pygmy elephants or make a donation to my favorite charity "CannabisForLife" or maybe I'll take that long deserved vacation...you know, the one I put off until my third and youngest child was safely away at college. [two more years!! two more years!!]

Maybe I'll sock it away for a rainy day??? :?

Hopefully, the SMH folks are keeping up with this message board and might consider changing the winner selection process. Put all the correct entries either into a drawing of, say, 25 winners @ 1K each, or advance to a second level....I would rather give up my .10 cents and see a few players get something worthwhile...
