I went with my heart and remembered that Higgs was like "best buds" with Peeps last year.

Subject: Peeps is Missing

I'm not sure if Happy told you directly, or if you read her LJ entry. If neither, then you need to know that Peeps has wandered off after hearing the news - he is Kevin's biological father.

I think Happy is on her way back home now - I'm sure she has been calling Ben more than once a day from the road. If you get a chance to update her, please let her know that Peeps still hasn't shown up. We're all worried.

You seemed to have gotten to know him pretty well last summer (before that Woodlawn incident). Do you have any idea where he might have gone to think things over?

Tell the others not to worry. Peeps is here in Santa Monica with me. Thanks for writing to me with the heads up. I've been so slammed that I have not checked out anything online in like a week. Peeps showed up on my doorstep yesterday morning. He said he needed a place to crash. I had no idea anything was up. Just figured he was traveling around after the big release from the dark side's in between.

It's weird, he hasn't said anything about Dwin. That is amazingly cool. I guess I should check out Happy's journal for the details. It is still really early here.. I'm heading out for my sunrise run. (I've made a few resolutions this week about my life that include watching the sunrise at least three times a week. More on that later.)

But when Peeps gets up, I'll see if I can get him to open up. I think I should be really careful... I can tell he's in a totally sad place right now. I took him to My Father's Office last night just to hang and he barely said a word. So, cool, Kona. Don't worry. I will keep an eye on our ordinary man. And I will check in with you later.

I took Trinket for a walk down in Venice today. We had lunch at the Fig Tree. (same place I met Patricia Moore last summer) Trinket had never been there, so it was fun to take her. Well, we hung out for 3 hours! We gabbed about tons of stuff - and finally she spoke to me about Peeps and the garden that night.

Trinket said she went to Peeps thinking it would be the safest place to go. At least it was far away from here. I'm not sure her thinking makes much sense, but that's how Trinket operates. Far away equals safe. She said Peeps' house looked really scary with all these print outs of the hand taped and glued along the fence, on the house, on the windows and doors. She knocked but Peeps wasn't inside. She heard something along the side of the house and went around to see if it was Peeps. She said she saw this white figure, that looked like they were in a bridal gown, in the garden yelling for Peeps.. And the voice sounded like Higgs! Trinket said there were three others standing on the edge of the fence laughing. She said it was the Trinity. She said she couldn't make out their faces or anything but they were three dark figures huddled together and scratching at the fence and laughing with this deep sick laugh. Then she saw Peeps reach out his hand to the bride! And then Trinket said she tried to scream for Peeps to stop, but no sound would come out of her mouth! She looked over at the Trinity and saw they were looking her way. Trinket took off running back to her car. That's when Peeps started howling! Trinket managed to get out one "Peeps!" - and she said he turned his head and she thinks he saw her - She said she was such a wreck that when she finally got to her car and tried to start it, she was shaking so much that her foot would not land on the gas!

Can I tell you.. that story has turned me into a nervous wreck again. Jayne is busy looking for spells and potions to keep out this Trinity. Do you guys have anything new?

Also quick Ben update. It was foggy again this morning and I did bring the lamp, as suggested by "anonymous". It was wonderful. Ben reacted very well to it. Really seemed to have that same relaxed look on his face. Thanks for the idea. I think the fog's going to be in and out a lot over the next week.

When & if we get a PM chat, not everyone is always able to attend. Also,
there is also a possibility that ARGNetcast will be able do an interview with our PM.

So, in light of this potential, we can start a question list in here.

You can also email them to netcast@argnetcast.info or, better yet, call them at 630-274-5425 and then *your* voice can ask the question. If you can't deal with a long distance call, go to the ARGNetcast website and click on the nifty "call us now" button and the show's answering machine will call you (takes less than a minute for your phone to ring).

So, what do you want to know from the game??? Both infront and behind the curtain.

Edit to add: Certainly we'll be inviting (trying to convince) our amazing PM to come out and chat with us (probably after the holiday weekend). I haven't broken the curtain yet - waiting for ARGN to do that for us with an interview. And waiting for Happy's video from her cross country adventure.

I know we're getting to endgame, but at the moment I feel like a lurker watching the Kona-Fangs game. :wink: Where did everybody go? Where did the other Darksiders go?

There's not much for us UNBC to do, the ball's in the Darksiders court it seems. Betty has posted her info from Arcana Imperii, but she's not much help in solving that, so I'm questioning it's importance to the game. *sigh* I guess we wait until Darksiders need us.
