Placing the box in the refrigerator for one hour worked for me. The lid slid open 3/8". This was enough for the paper clue to slip out. This eliminate the problem of how to reset the spring and cube.

I was on Facebook today and this page was in my recommended pages. It stuck out to me for having just 5 likes

The page links to a Vimeo video that no longer exists, but another link to a vlog about how their meds are BS is linked. Supposedly the guy in the vlog (Horace Hoyle) heard about it in the news, but obviously there's no mention of Crane Corp or GRIN in the news.

There's a comment on the Facebook page leading to GRIM , a page which seems to be the heroic organisation in this (assuming it's an ARG).

On the GRIM page there's a lot of hints that Horace Hoyle's videos might be puzzles. There's also a Vimeo link to a video called A World Of Only Smiles .

Almost everything related to this was uploaded on April 20th 2016, from both Facebook pages to Horace Hoyle's youtube vlogs. It was clearly intended to be an ARG or some kind of chaotic fiction, but it doesn't seem to have gotten off the ground. Did anyone ever come across this, hear anything about it, or hell, participate in it? I'm genuinely curious as to why this doesn't seem to have gone anywhere.

Hi! I'm new to online ARGs, a bit. I participated in the OldRoot thing (r/oldroot) for a bit. I received the ARG book Quest when I was younger and my sister and I got as far as we could with that. I remember my father participating in the Search for the Golden Horse that ran on PBS. My experience is limited, but I do have a little experience.

I managed to get to level 6, as far as I can tell one answer in each set of questions is intended to be worked out through trial and error. Of course you have to have all the other answers correct in order to have a chance!

for level 5 remember the answer to the first question in level 4....

As to level 6 the first question seems to be paradoxical so I'm more than a little stuck -_-

"Different" means how many different kinds of characters, not how many characters in all. You should start counting from where you put the answer, not from http.

Other than that, I can't really help you. Hell, I got to page 5 and I still don't know how I got the answer to 2, 3 and 4. I just tried random characters until the next page appears. If anyone could explain how the answer to is derived, I would be much obliged.

Could you say me what is the solution of question 3 please? The solution of 2 is son weird. I don't tell that's a logic enigma :(
