Equation and Carta Blanca

Okay so I have completed Da Vinci's Secret 100% a while back. I have obtained scrolls from puzzles 1-5. however I can use a little further assistance.
I could use some additional guidance on solving the 'Riddle' for the equation puzzle, and how to use the piece from Da Vinci's secret in respect to the puzzle.
Also any guidance on opening Carta Blanca, I have tried twisting, turning, spinning etc all to no avail, any thoughts I have missed???
Thanks

Crane Corp/G.R.I.N/Horace Hoyle

I was on Facebook today and this page was in my recommended pages. It stuck out to me for having just 5 likes

@OfficialCraneCorp

The page links to a Vimeo video that no longer exists, but another link to a vlog about how their meds are BS is linked. Supposedly the guy in the vlog (Horace Hoyle) heard about it in the news, but obviously there's no mention of Crane Corp or GRIN in the news.

There's a comment on the Facebook page leading to GRIM , a page which seems to be the heroic organisation in this (assuming it's an ARG).

On the GRIM page there's a lot of hints that Horace Hoyle's videos might be puzzles. There's also a Vimeo link to a video called A World Of Only Smiles .

Almost everything related to this was uploaded on April 20th 2016, from both Facebook pages to Horace Hoyle's youtube vlogs. It was clearly intended to be an ARG or some kind of chaotic fiction, but it doesn't seem to have gotten off the ground. Did anyone ever come across this, hear anything about it, or hell, participate in it? I'm genuinely curious as to why this doesn't seem to have gone anywhere.

Salutations! My name is Soul, and I would like to say it feels good to be here. Being able to type this out here means I can be apart of a group of people that knows how to not just shitpost all the time or troll little kids on some online game. I hope to meet many people here that will improve my life and hey, maybe even start an ARG with.

New Person

Hi! I'm new to online ARGs, a bit. I participated in the OldRoot thing (r/oldroot) for a bit. I received the ARG book Quest when I was younger and my sister and I got as far as we could with that. I remember my father participating in the Search for the Golden Horse that ran on PBS. My experience is limited, but I do have a little experience.

I look forward to working with you guys! Thanks!

Doctor Who '42' (E 184) Hidden puzzle

I know I'm 'a bit late' asking this but bare with me.

I have just re-watched "42". Episode 184 (or S03E07) of the Doctor Who series .

The whole thing revolves around breaking codes and answering quiz-questions. I can't escape the feeling that there must be a puzzle hidden in there. The whole thing has this ARG feel to it. No luck finding any reference on the net.

This struck me most: I noticed how the computer was counting down 42 minutes until the crash in a very strange way. Announcing every minute or every ten seconds would make sense but these numbers were so random....they probably are not. I tried some logic to crack the code but failed so far.

Here are the countdown numbers the computer actually mentions out loud.
42:27
40:26
34:31
32:50
30:50
29:46
28:50
27:06
24:51
17:05
12:55
11:15
08:57
07:30
04:47
04:08
03:43
02:17
01:21
01:06

Other 'info' in this episode (that may help solve this)
It starts in 'Area 30'
Happy Prime numbers "Find the next number in the sequence: 313, 331, 367...?" Answer: 379.

Over 400.000 results on an internet search (Who had more pre-download Number Ones, Elvis Presley or The Beatles?)

What do you think? Am I paranoid or did I discover a 'long hidden' puzzle?

Pablo's Armchair Treasure Hunt

The annual holiday hunt is on. The end prize is a real box buried somewhere in the countryside of England, and some small cash prizes. The fun is in the ciphers, trivia, riddles, and meta clues which yield the instructions to find it.

Fetch the puzzle (download the two PDF files) from http://pablosath.com/current/index.html

Check http://pablosath.com/current/notes.html for errata and other annoucements during the hunt.

The hard work is in creating a document to submit your answers, to be judged and scored for points. It usually takes at least 2-3 people to collaborate with any hope of finishing before the mid-January deadline.

Years ago, it was known as the Logica Armchair Treasure Hunt

(Do not post solutions here, not even in spoiler tags. Find a private place for your team to collaborate -- or your answers *will* be stolen.)

52 Master Pieces

(I am not affiliated with the production of this item, just thought people here would be interested.)

New hunt coming "soon" and a demo site already up and running with puzzles and riddles to be solved. There are small prizes, intermediate prizes, and grand prizes -- and everything is free to enter!

"52 Master Pieces"
Solve 52 pieces, then FIND and REDEEM the Grandmaster Key.
https://www.52masterpieces.com/

Promo video:
https://youtu.be/8cRZUkdA8rw
(other vids):
52MP youTube channel
donations (crowd-funding for a hard-copy of the book):
https://startsomegood.com/52mp

The creators have also posted over on Tweleve:
David Cohen (calvin)
Steve Geller (milltycoon)
http://tweleve.org/new-hunts-rumors/26820-52-master-pieces.html

Since this is ultimately a contest, I don't expect there to be much cooperation for the keys, but a discussion might ensue as to the game mechanics and the minor riddles. If I've read the description correctly, the website itself will give hints and solutions for everything not related to the master contest.

Let's play The Odd Story Game!

How to play: I put a piece of random story, and one of you must continue it with a "..." at the end to signify someone else can play. For example:
I was playing the Dark Knight ARG, when suddenly I heard a knock on the door. It was...

a giant dog, dressed up like the Joker. He told me...
And that's how to play! Here's the first part:

My computer started buzzing like crazy, with code flashing on screen. I screenshotted it, and it said, "Look under the..."
