The New York Times has an article up on "The 39 Clues," a new book series for children by Scholastic that is apparently going to have a significant online gaming component:

An online game will allow readers to search for the 39 clues themselves, while solving puzzles and playing mini-games that will be refreshed daily. Mr. Levithan said the site would include blogs written from the points of view of characters, and maps, treasure hunts and videos, many with historical and geographical content.

I have already solved the first part of the anagram, and it is part of a hyperlink. It is for a hidden webpage for an anagram contest. My brain is fried, and I would very much appreciate the help!

Movie

A movie is being shopped around called 'Bristel Goodman'.

It's being made by a guy named Dan Harnden.

Apparently they created the ARG with no idea what they were doing and abandoned it to focus on a dramatic feature about the story.

If anyone out there still has questions about this, Dan Harnden is the guy to ask.

Rapid Fire Series

There's is a short kindle series for the 39 clues called rapid fire. Apparently the books each have part of a 10 letter code. I have the code so far as

VESPERFI

So I can assume 3 guesses as to the code.

1. VESPERFIVE

2. VESPERFIND

Or

3. VESPERFIRE (which doesn't make as much sense as the first two, but one is the best guess)

What do you guys think of this? What do you think it will reveal when the whole code is revealed? Some sort of file on one of the vespers in the council of six? Who knows. I will have the answer by tomorrow what the code is, so
