I have a lot of Clover creature info that I found out through viral info, director info, the movie, and the blu-ray's "Special Investigation Mode" notes. Below is my info:

Clover Creature:

Diet: Besides humans, horses, and whales, he eats oil. According to the blu-ray, a Tagruato Oil tanker was suprisingly OUT of oil, nothing was left in it. This was answered in one of the foreign language videos of the Chuai Station attack. A Norwegien Oil Tanker, full of oil, was passing by the station heading for Manhattan, but was never heard from again. Clover only attacks somthing if it angers him or thinks it's food and, with the Tagruato Oil Tanker empty of oil, leads me to conclude that he eats oil.

Relationship between the Parasites and Clover: According to the directors, the Parasites "feed off of Clover" as well as "serve an evolutionary function for Clover". The meaning if that second statement came from the movie. Just after the first encounter with the Parasites in the subway, Hud informs Marlena that the Parasites were "trying to drag him away"! This leads me to the conclusion that the Parasites brings human-sized animals to Clover as food for him.

Clover's mouth: After careful research into his origin, I have made a starteling discovery; he has a mouth filled with a more potnet form of deadly saliva that the Parasites have! I will explain how this is so. Seabed's Nectar has been described by the Ravaille Research Center's report on Seabed's Nectar mentioned the following effects: Accelerated cell growth, increased strength, increased soft muscle tissue growth, sharper eyesight better digestion, smoother skin, etc. These effects describe Clover! So this means he has been mutated by this seabed's nectar long ago. Now the blu-ray revlead that the Parasite's bite, which makes people and animals explode, comes from there saliva. The Parasites have also been found to have huge amounts of Seabed's Nectar in their bloodstream. This means they too were mutated by this nectar, though must not have consumed as much as what Clover did before he mutated. My guess is that the Parasites were small bugs before being mutated while Clover was a deep sea fish before mutationl thus why Clover has much greater of the Nectar's effect than the parasites. Furthermore, in the SLUSHO website, in there "Happy Talk" section, one comment about the slusho drink (which has small amounts of the nectar in it) "mkes my stomach explode with happiness". This reveals that it is the Seabed's nectar that gives the stomach exploding trick. So this means that Clover, being bigger than the Parasites, has a much more powerful form of the deadly saliva that makes organisms explode if bitten. Japanese Godzilla would NOT want to be bitten by Clover!

I hope you find this evidence to be true as I have and hope that this info is placed in the Cloverfield Despoiler website.

Erm... I dunno if you guys or still updating the blog, or if you even care, (Lol..) but I thought I'd put in my two cents. Er. A few things I think are worthy of mention;

On the SLUSHO!.jp website, Happy Talk page, if you wait 6 seconds, the mouth will gulp, and smile half-open. If you then click the button, you would receive a different message than that of what you usually would. The messages all begin in the same happy up-beat manner, then slowly become more eerie and creepy.

Secondly, the pseunmoisuf.pdf that the Whistle Blower sent, can be anagrammed into this; Mines Up Of Us. A little hint, no?

I can see this hasn't been posted in for awhile. Oh well. Thanks for listening. (Not.)

Well, I was at a premiere on 31st January 2008, and I'd say the cinema hall was not really empty, but not really full. And it wasn't really PR for the movie in Germany.

And even if the Cloverfield-DVD has the same contents as an US one, there wasn't a pamphlete or something, and it was really cheap. I don't like expensive DVDs, but it was a sign for me, 15 EUR for the premiere DVD is in Germany too cheap. Perhaps they feared, nobody will buy the movie, because nobody knows about it...
