Lost Ring trivia for the final pruvo codes.

Okay, I was one of the people who decrypted the omphaputer file, and of course the first thing I did was download everything. I had all but forgotten about this, but I was doing some cleanup in my drives, found the files and remembered there were a bunch that were never revealed after the sites went offline.

So here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/file/pveuxliq268ni2m/behind_the_scenes_artifacts.zip . I made no attempt to remove the ones already on the wiki, perhaps someone with spare time will find and upload the missing ones  And if anyone's interested, the decrypted file and decryption program are included.

Enjoy!

(now looking forward to the 2012 Olympics ARG?...)

[RING][MEIHUI] ENGLISH-MANDARIN CHINESE TRANSLATOR REQUESTED

Hey guys! I'm pretty new at this forum and at ARGs in general, but I'm eager to start giving a hand wherever needed.
Unfortunately, I can't really help with mandarin... I work with English to Spanish Translation mostly, and I dabble in Italian and Portuguese (not professionally, but maybe enough to help out around here).

If you still need help with Mandarin, I can't translate it myself but I do know some online translators and other resources that may help! Let me know!

/edit: I work..nay...I long for removing spam links. -ndemeter

Hey guys!
Thought this would be a good place to introduce myself. I'm from Argentina and my education background is in communication sciences and sociology, though I currently work as a translator (both in-house and freelance). My languages are spanish, english and Italian, plus I have access to resources valuable at translating other languages (ie. translator friends :P ). So, I'm here for your language needs.
I am also a musician (guitar) and a night school teacher (I teach history).

FYI, there is a new software called "Pace & Place" that is able to convert Trackstick TSF files into other GPS file formats, e.g. GPX, KML, KMZ, GDB, MPS, TRK, OVL, etc. The software runs on Windows and Linux PCs (support for MacOS is on the roadmap). Simply download and install
version 0.3 (Milestone 1) or any newer version of "Pace & Place" from here:
[PRESS] Find the Lost Ring

I think from reading the article that The Lost Ring won the Grand Prize of all the promotions at the Buzz Awards. In addition, they won the Grand Prize in the gaming division.

They won against hundreds of other promotions including the placement of Mountain Dew..or was it 7-Up?... in the Transformers movie, which must have been pretty slick because i don't even remember it.

Congrats to Jane, Mei Wei, the one PM I met, all the other PMs and all the players. This was fun. Great job!!

Hannes Kolehmainen from Finland. He set a new world record, beating the previous time by just over three and a half minutes.

Who won the Olympic Men's Marathon in 2008?

Samuel Kamau Wanjiru from Kenya.

Both correct.
Unfortunately, the in-game sites are down, so there isn't a point in releasing more pruvo codes at the moment.
I'm hoping that we'll get the rest of the pdfs up soon.
Keep watching this thread for more updates.

Trivia Question # 2:
When Eli was 10, he found an old Bronze artifact. In who's workshop did he find it, and what tipped off the 10 year old that the scroll inside it wasn't from the 5th Century BC.

Pheidias, and that piece of fiction bugged the crap out of me.

his tip off was the language the scroll was written in. . .

That's what I was looking for. The scroll was in English. The scroll was clearly written long after the Greek Empire had come and gone.
New codes:

2MRS/P3LG/8FBO/NAC8/4J6R
2XAD/QVD1/1ROV/UCV4/VYU3
38HQ/RW4J/W53U/6YPO/9VZN
3BIX/R7IZ/RNW0/IHI8/S9QO

Links for the 10 I've just given (I gave a piece of the codex by accident)
002V 0B99
0W4E 10RF
13NL 1XH1
2MRS 2XAD
38HQ 3BIX
