By far, this will be the site that will probably make more sense to you guys than me: The Door .

I followed it through to find these pages: hallway and equinox .

There's a ton of morse code on hallway (whose page title reads as 'thee vision tactics') and nearly all the pages linked thus far have sound that needs to be analyzed.

He is over here too. It seems he still struggles with managing to
articulate himself through any medium that your type would understand.
We've crossed paths. The one who calls himself Distortion is one some
knew in his living years as Flynn, and later The Fly. He existed in your
world with a great deal of anger, a great deal of resentment, and a
burning desire for revenge. That was not quelled upon him taking his own
life with a bullet originally meant for another. I think he knew he could
exact even more revenge on this side than on yours. So it was worth it to
him to make that choice.

He's still looking for his justice, I'm afraid.

This crazy idea started with a peculiar Craig's Listing that was posted in the Seattle>olympia>rants & raves section on 9-30. It caught my eye because it was a funny play on words, but mostly because "Ether" had been used as one of the locations of an earlier in game CL post. I've attached a screen capture.

Since Seattle seems to be connected to Echo, I googled echo and bunny and found there's a band called Echo & the Bunnymen.
The strange coincidence is that their drummer, Pete de Freitas, died in a motorcycle accident. But that happened on his way to London from Liverpool; not in Washington.

Ok. Then I got to thinking about thedoor page. We see echo's hand there, so we know he's there. "Riders on the Storm" plays... Echo died on a rainy day. And there's an accentuated drum (I think it's a hi hat) beat and the title "speak in rhythm".

I sent echo an email with "speak in rhythm" as the subject, and asked, "echo, are you a drummer?"
He answered back in one word:

So echo was a drummer. Maybe he's not specifically meant to be Pete de Freitas. I've sent a follow-up email tonight asking if he was the drummer for the Bunneymen, among other questions.

i saved the equinox page and will be posting it soon. the only other thing i noticed diff is that the crosses on the root are white now. anyone else notice anthing else?

[Audio Analysis] Audio tidbits

Since we seem to have come to a lull in the story as we wait for more voices to emerge, I went to review some of the audio tracks that we have already heard. There seem to be a few places that can use a better ear than mine.

Here's one of them from mataleon from http://www.voicesinthestatic.com/hallway/ right around the time the male voice says "after death" there's something else.
The attached audio is a small tidbit that has been reversed and clumsily fumbled with as I try to learn how to manipulate these tracks.

What do you hear?

As for the pbwiki, I had only gotten up to page 17 of the trailhead thread, and just the bare bones of that. So we need many to contribute to get the wiki up to date.

i think we are makeing a mistake

perhaps viewing what echo has said should be taken in to consideration.

i think we all need to stop contacting Mona, and instead start to contact i know this will sound odd but contact Distortion, perhaps if we contact him to much it will overload him and cause him to loose track of Mona and in doing so will allow echo to grab her.

but i believe that if we continue to spread the fire at distortions steps with his power it will be like a over charged battery and boom no more big boss man,

or it could feed him even more and he could destroy Mona and us all...i am hoping for the first outcome,

or perhaps we need to tell Mona we won't help her now, and in doing so she will back down and in doing so should throw Distortion off guard.
