Thomas Bender at the Central Park meetup

These 2 stills look like Bender. If someone already caught this, then I apologize...but I watched these videos when they were posted on youtube (many years ago) and never noticed that the guy who arrived AFTER the the 2 oddballs in red was Bender for sure.

[MEETUP IN CENTRAL PARK] Details of our harrowing adventure!

OK, so here's how it went down in Central Park. I met up with Big T and bostonbeat at the Needle, and after waiting, we figured everyone else was making their way over already, so we headed over to the appointed spot, the basketball courts.

Once there we found Relia chilling with none other than Joey. He was clad in winter gear like the rest of us, but sure enough he had his basket ball uniform on underneath. We asked some questions and discussed some milwaukee-related things while we waited for more people to show. Once our group got bigger (about 8 people I think?), Joey started breaking things down.

First he told us about after the power outtage how Milwaukee started to form a 'power board' to control the power in Milwaukee, and was afraid that Blackstar would get control of it. I'll throw in more details of what was discussed later.

At anyrate, Joey was paranoid the entire time and sure enough his paranoia was justified, as in the distance relia spotted Worker Power. Joey freaked and beckoned us behind a tree, where he distributed his supply of Family Trees to us. He had previously handed Relia an item called the "Champion Dynasty Fund", a golden turkey trophy (I kid you not) that he claimed was the most powerful item in Milwaukee.

Joey instructed us that the word to use a Family Tree's power was "Bonus", and for the Champion Dynasty Fund, "Bonub". At anyrate, Worker assumed the Power Run and came charging at us, and we were commanded to charge him in V-formation. So, we ran forward, out items in hand, shouting 'BONUS!' in a rather comical display.

Bear Stearns Bravo (possible "sequel" to TIMM?)

The "pronunciationbook" 77-day countdown ended and this got released: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_HaMlLJ7Jk

Turns out pronunciationbook was an art project counting down to the release of Synydyne's new project. Bear Stearns Bravo is a FMV choose-your-own-adventure game by Synydyne. (It's probably gonna have some ARG elements along the way? There's an in-game social network kinda thing that I'm pretty sure is going to be very important.)

Since yesterday, thisismymilwaukee.com redirects to synydyne.com, which lists TIMM as a "previous project". The YouTube TIMM video has been removed. I guess TIMM is officially done now, and this is the "very long tail" Bakkila mentioned in that one email.

Anyway, I've played one chapter of BSB and it's extremely heavily inspired by TIMM. (Two characters are called Champion and Dynasty, an in-game "instructional video" features a shot of a fennel bulb on a table, someone said "ham bur ger", etc.) Also, the sense of humour and cheesy 90s-ness of it all reminds me a lot of TIMM. Everyone reading this should check it out.

Movement at last?

I followed a trail of breadcrumbs from a sudden influx of views on a crappy TIMM related video I posted 5000 years ago to what appears to be a new and emerging ARG:

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=38184

Apparently there is heavy speculation that this may be from our old friends responsible for TIMM, and maybe even connected somehow.

I hope Relia still has that damn Turkey, just in case...

Anyone else re-watch the video now and then for nostalgia or to look for something we may have missed?

[TRAILHEAD] ThisIsMyMilwaukee.com

My friend linked me this site which he supposedly got from the SA forums.

http://www.thisismymilwaukee.com/

I live in Milwaukee and none of that footage was shot here. Calling the number gives an oddly ARG-ish sounding message. This looks to be somewhat high quality and has a very ARG-ish feel to it.

moved topic from N&R to CF with Potential, added [TIMM] tag. Have fun! - krystyn
I THINK I FOUND SOMETHING!!

So I just created an account to share this find. Hopefully i'm not way behind and putting up something that is old news. I was following this game before and today thought i'd check it out and see what happened with it.

I went to the this is my Milwaukee video youtube page and there was a strange comment posted 1 week ago by someone named aGoDSentfriendindEED. The comment said "The interns dide eate the fennel I stored in the employee iceboxe". I clicked on the user's profile, and it showed that they registered on Christmas and live in Milwaukee. Only about 100 people have seen the video and no one has posted a comment.

I don't really remember very much from the game it was so long ago. It looks like it could have been made by a fan in windows moviemaker. But if you couple this with the other comment posted by the This Is My Milwaukee profile on the TIMM video "We patiently wait. " and that odd cartoon both of which are currently mentioned on the last page of the trailhead, perhaps this game is back on? The name aGoDSentfriendindEED also kind of sounds like they are trying to help us figure something out. Here is a link to aGoDSentfriendindEED's profile, I assume everyone already knows how to get to the TIMM profile
There's a 3 page interview with Thomas Bender and Jacob Bakkila in the April 2009 issue of C-U Confidential . They talk about Hoopeston. I was hoping for a mention of TIMM, but no such luck. It was an interesting read if you enjoyed the Hoopeston film.

Chuck Jagoda OOG

Chuck Jagoda did stand up? He has several clips on youtube in different venues....they all contain the same routine.....its mediocre, but I am sure it is out of game. Every routine is almost word for word identical in every clip....pretty rare for a comic.

I am sorry if someone already posted this somewhere.
[OFF-TOPIC] Recs for TIMMers looking for a new game?

I know TIMM drew a lot of new people -- myself included -- to unfiction and large-scale ARG participation. Since TIMM is a bit comatose at the moment, I'd love some other puzzles to wrap my brain around. Can anyone recommend a good ARG or two that seems to be just getting on its feet at the moment and wouldn't be too hard to jump into? I've skimmed some threads on the "Potential" board and it's hard to identify which ones are really still young and active without digging through one by one.

Anyone care to name any ARGs that could use some love?
