The New York Times has an article up on "The 39 Clues," a new book series for children by Scholastic that is apparently going to have a significant online gaming component:

An online game will allow readers to search for the 39 clues themselves, while solving puzzles and playing mini-games that will be refreshed daily. Mr. Levithan said the site would include blogs written from the points of view of characters, and maps, treasure hunts and videos, many with historical and geographical content.

Rapid Fire Series

There's is a short kindle series for the 39 clues called rapid fire. Apparently the books each have part of a 10 letter code. I have the code so far as

VESPERFI

So I can assume 3 guesses as to the code.

1. VESPERFIVE

2. VESPERFIND

Or

3. VESPERFIRE (which doesn't make as much sense as the first two, but one is the best guess)

What do you guys think of this? What do you think it will reveal when the whole code is revealed? Some sort of file on one of the vespers in the council of six? Who knows. I will have the answer by tomorrow what the code is, so

Please post trade requests here, both physical & virtual cards..
If we want to keep this neat, we can update old posts with the strikethrough style to make note if we've received the cards we need.
Also feel free to post tips (if you are trading card #'s over e-mail with someone you don't know, I wouldn't send more than 1 card number at a time, that way they can test each card to make sure it's valid. That way a dishonest person can't take all of your card codes while telling you that none of them work.)

If you are requesting card codes by mailing Scholastic, the card # list doesn't tell you what card # you have until you enter it in the system. I ended up with 3 of the same card that way. I have documented the last 2 digits of the card code #'s on the wiki: http://various.wikibruce.com/CardIdentifier . Now I know what unused card codes I have (I have a few duplicates), and which ones I need.

I am still missing virtual cards #27 (should end with a CF) , #66(D9) and #67 (FP) .

I think you can get replicators on the 39 clues website if people add your agent card. Mine is P4H4WXHDXPf. Please add mine. I will check back and add anyone who posts here. This could help us all come closer to the 39 clues. Also, try entering Piccadilly and trustnoone.
