Okay, so, I'm an oldtimer here, been involved in this for years and years, feels almost like a lifetime ago.

I never finished Clear Lakes 44, and I haven't seen a single upload of ECKVA. So can someone give me a quick rundown of what the hell is going on now?

I'm assuming that since Marblehornets is really an umbrella term around here, that it is fine If I discuss the Slendermythos?

I'm prefacing this with the assumption that JAFOOL is considered Slendermythos canon.

This is just some speculation between myself and my friend; random thoughts.

In the JAFool canon, Logan believed that Slendy was somehow related to Yggdrasil; This can be seen in his drawings, and the odd cyphers of capital letters he left in his posts.

Taking this as an idea; does it not make sense that If Slenderman had been around for a long time, and had an obvious relation to trees, that it was he that INSPIRED the idea of Ygg? Furthermore; has he inspired any other beliefs?

I believe that potentially, If Slendy is that old, he could have been the basis of MANY deity like figures.

For example: ATEN. the Egyptian God of Gods; The sun. Oftentimes depicted as a blank disc with MULTIPLE ARMS coming out of him.

He has a blank face; he's tall, and has many arms. He effects vision, and gives us many things (metaphorically). Logan went blind from looking at Slendy (his journal) just as you go blind from looking at the sun. In Game-canon, is it not possible to think that Aten; Similarly circular and with arms, may have been influenced?

Connection?

Now, I'm not really saying Aten will come into the story, or if he has any influence, just merely providing evidence for the idea that Slendy may indeed be eldritchly old and powerful.

I hope I'm making sense.

I could've just actually solved the description cipher. Ok, so hear me out: I took the numbers in the description and seperated then in 2 character incriments, like so: 15 61 57 14 51 65 15 61 51 16 41 56 15 71 43 . I translated it to Octal and here's what I got: "noeunitnoc" Now this could be any of the 4 following results:

1. An anagram for "innocent"
2. An anagram for "inconnue" (I'll get to that later)
3. An anagram for "continue"
4. Something else

Personally, I believe that the most likely result is #2. Now, it could be anyone of these and make sense, but here's why: The definition for "inconnue" is "an unknown woman". Who do we not know alot about? Jessica. (Or Amy) No, I could be COMPLETELY wrong because I've only JUST started watching Marble Hornets. Hope this helped. P.S. I am currently working on the unsolved cipher also in this video, if I solve it I'll post again.

If you haven't read or heard about what is going on with THAC, I highly suggest you look into that before reading this. But if you don't know and rather not look into it, I'll just give you a short summary: Troy made bad decisions as head of his company, and mucked up his friendships. Tim and Joseph left THAC on their own volition, and then Troy, in essence, fired Noah. So now that THAC is down to one man, the current videos of Clear Lakes 44 is, within a few weeks, to be pulled from the Marble Hornets channel, and be posted on a different channel, while a reboot series will take its place...somewhere in the near future, thus meaning this series that we have been currently watching has been canceled. But that doesn't mean we can't speculate on what was going on in these current videos. The only things that sucks is that we only got 13 of these videos, and they amount to 26 to 27 minutes in length. But why not give it a shot, right? Everyone can post their theories in reply to this and share or argue with each other, whichever makes the other feel comfortable.
