Just saw this on Joystiq, dunno if it was posted here.

http://www.somethinginthesea.com/

Not much to it yet, but someone found another .swf with more dates filled in that hint at upcoming dates when stuff will take place.

http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/260890/map.swf

Don't know if they'll be doing anything more with it but we'll see.
BioShock 2 (SPOILER THREAD)

All right, several people in the main SitS thread have requested that we stop posting spoilers about the game in the main thread, so I'm taking the liberty of making a new thread where we can talk about plot elements in the actual game.

So, what did you think, everyone who's played BioShock 2 ?

The End?

So I just finished the puzzle. I'm going to finish paying off Bioshock 2 tomorrow. I'm hoping that we get something out of this in the end maybe a special Plasmid in game? WAIT! We might have one more big puzzle ahead of us boys and girls. The note that is next to the map from Lutwidge says something about an order of something. Could it be that the 5 things he mentions are going to be puzzles for us to figure out? Oh I hope so.

Been away for awhile - GREAT JOB everyone. Thought of y'all last night out at a bar - they had one of those touch screen gaming stations - guess what popped up? 5 x 5 chess. Everyone at the table jumped when I laughed.....and definitely did NOT get it when I tried to explain....... :D

The Bottles...

To address Kholdstare's inquiry about the notes of the jewelry box puzzle:

Forgive me if I'm way out in left field, but I'm still stuck on the possible musical aspect of things.

As a kid, I loved filling several bottles with water to different points to produce various notes when I blew into them...

To those people with bottles, are there any indications of different "fill lines," on them; thereby producing different notes?

I do not have a bottle, but if anyone checks it out (and feels like indulging the ravings of a confirmed madman) let me know what you find.

I doubt that the beach events were truly the end of this awesome ARG experience. We still have yet to resolve the jewelry box's interior puzzle. And O.O.L.'s references we hear upon opening the jewelry box have not really been addressed, IMO. I may be blind, but I have read nearly every post on this forum, I haven't really seen resolution to this yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong though...

PAX Clues

The booth at PAX has been made to look like the room of (can't remember) and there are clues and puzzles everywhere.

We solved a canister puzzle (similar to a cryptex) and got a booklet with strange clues inside.

This puzzle was inside. I'll take more pics of the booth and other stuff later. Any insights?

Edit: Follow me on twitter for more details!

Forum Guidelines - Please read before posting!

A short summary of guidelines for these forums:

Please refer to the general unFiction posting guidelines here .
Please try and keep the forum as tidy as possible, which is mostly done by using the [search] function to see if what you want to post is not already being discussed! You'll find the [search] function at the top right-hand side at all times.
Tagging your posts also helps keep the forum clean and easily usable. Use for example tags like [META] or [PUZZLE]. If a puzzle is solved, the original poster is kindly asked to edit his or her post to add the tag [SOLVED] to the topic, to indicate that puzzle is now solved.
Please PM me or any of the other admins or forum-moderators if you have any questions regarding these guidelines or the forum in general Have fun!
