(this is NOT me, it's a tweet thread by that Ken Jennings guy who won a lot on Jeopardy!)

The best movie version of the passion of Christ is Tron (1982).

Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) programmed Space Paranoids, Light Cycles, etc. He is, quite literally, the "creator" of the game grid.

When he enters his creation, he finds he has miraculous powers to control game elements, heal ailing programs, etc.

The dark forces that now rule the digital world hate him and put him on trial. They think his talk about being a "User" is blasphemy.

In the end, he sacrifices his own life, throwing himself into the communication beam of the Master Control Program.

His sacrifice defeats the MCP and redeems the digital world. His disciple Yori: "He saved you. He saved all of us."

Flynn suffers when he creates the new junction in the Solar Sailer beam, and Sark believes he's been "de-rezzed," but he rises again.

After Flynn returns to his own plane, Yori kisses Tron the way Flynn taught her, spreading his message of love.

The I/O towers light up to the horizon. Flynn's message of hope is spreading across the game grid, even to the ends of the earth. Credits.

Tron 3 was in the news this week.

I don't put much too much hope in these articles just to be sure I'm not crushed with disappointment later on.

First Kosinski had to say about it (which includes a revels of the plot):

Okay all, great news! The Bruce has offered to help me, as I was having difficulties properly hosting this stuff. It is in his hands! The man knows his interwebz stuff A LOT more than I do. Here's cheers to The Bruce! If all goes well, we'll see functioning Flynn Lives ARG sites and sounds (pun intended) in the near-ish future. There is a ton of data to still be sorted through, so be patient and all will be revealed!

Now that I have a few responses, I will be getting all the files I have ready to send/post. I am trying to get as many responses as possible, but I am going to give out a deadline.

This coming Sunday I am hoping to have a couple more responses. If not I will post weather or not I can put everything on a cloud drive or have to burn blu rays for theses interested.

If I can post, no deadline. If I have to send, then Sunday sounds good for the deadline.

I will check back on Saturday & Sunday here, to see if there are any more responses.

Hi all,

Its been a very long time since I last posted, or for that matter checked up on FL stuff. I know 42 took down the sites. However, during the ARG, I knew the sites would eventually go down, so... I saved everything I could save. Complete webpages, images, html code and just about everything else I thought should be archived for posterity! If anyone wants copies of these files, I would be happy to share. I filled a 25gb blue ray full of goodies. Post here or PM me if you want. Ill also put all of these files on a cloud drive to share.

(not sure which thread to resurrect to post this, so i'm just picking the last active topic, sorry)

I was in traffic last week behind this car (or a newer version or a similar model):

I barely got a good look at the side, but it immediately reminded me of the USB stick I bought which looks just like it, the white one. (The memory failed after a while or was damaged, but it's still a collectible.)

btw, why is this forum still marked as "Now Playing"? Even if another movie comes out, and even if they use an ARG to promote it, I doubt it will be a continuation of this game. Probably time for a move to the archives -- but then, I hate to post there.
