pretty good episode, and Liz was great. It does make me wonder if she is now typecast as the "sexy but strong woman who is never what she seems and likes to beat men at their own game."

I hope so! She was looking mighty fine tonight!

Push PM Chat Postponed

Sadly, Doug TenNapel was unable to make tonight's chat. Although we don't have complete information yet, we strongly suspect it was due to some nefarious plot hatched by Watermark. As everyone knows, they're still out there protecting their secrets!

We had a great turnout for the chat and some great conversation in spite of things not going as planned. I'd like to personally thank everyone who came out and apologize for the unexpected problems.

We're working hard to reschedule the chat with Mr. TenNapel. Please check back here for more details as soon as we have them.

Push, NV, Puppetmaster Chat on Sunday, December 1, 2002

Hi again, Doug.

I have a slew of questions.
Don't know how many of them are in your scope...
but here's a couple more
just in case I can't get on to ask in person this evening:

Baseball questions:

Did the number 10623 refer to the date
of Ernie Padgett’s unassisted triple play on 10/6/23
and if so, was it a point of reference of some kind?

Were the characters using baseball gestures
to signal information to the audience?
Because I think I could see them,
but couldn’t put together the system...

Also, I think I also recognized some ASL
and some finger-spelling...
Am I out in left field with these questions?

Push PM Chat and Question Guidelines

For anyone not familiar with IRC, here are some tips that should help with the Push PM chat:

The chat can be accessed in a couple of ways:
1) via a client like mIRC at irc.chat-solutions.org, channel #unfiction

2) through the java client at http://www.argn.com/chat.htm or http://www.unfiction.com/chat/

After the channel is placed in moderated mode (approx 10 mins prior to the start), you will not be able to speak in the channel until it is your turn. To be placed in the queue to ask a question, you will need to PM (private message) one of the ops with "Question".

To PM an op in mIRC or the java client, simply double click on the op's name from the nick list on the right-hand side of the screen. This will open a separate window. In the java client you will need to select the 'Person-to-Person Chat' tab in the info window. Then you can type "question" to be placed in the queue. When it is your turn to ask a question, you will type the question in the main chat window.

If you are using the java client, be sure not to close the browser window or you will lose the chat session (even if the chat space has been floated out of the browser).

Hint: If you already know the question(s) you want to ask, you can take the typing pressure off of yourself by typing the question up in advance and cutting and pasting into the chat window when it is your turn.

Chat logs cannot be saved from the java client, but there will be a complete log posted after the chat is concluded.

Hope to see you there!

Push, NV, Puppetmaster Chat on Sunday, December 1, 2002

Hi, Doug.

The one big thing I'd like to know, please:

Is Mark Nakamoto "The Runner?"

In other words has the game become a matter
of determining where Mr. Nakamoto is located
and figuring out how to "capture" him
and how to present proof of his "capture?"

Such as sending a photo of him and/or his location
the way it is done in the game "Node Runner?"

Because we, the audience, have seen no living breathing
proof of his existence, so I, for one, would like to know if
the game is still afoot.

Thank you.

pjv

:D :) :o  :? 8) :P    :?: :!:
