psychogenic fugue

Hope you can help. Let's say a man has experienced a trauma, and has created another identity in his mind. His is confined to a hospital room, so he cannot wander off, as is normally the case if someone has this condition. He is living a normal, day to day life in his mind, very similar to the one he had before his trauma. He is not comatose, but minimally responsive to the doctors, family, etc. Could, in theory, a psychiatrist hypnotize this man to find out exactly what is going on in his mind?

Sarah was originally one of the children from the Ongs Hat who it apperas was deliberately left behind to fulfill the role of helping to re-awaken the Nine.
You: What is the disc?
You: What is the wand?
Don, was history implied possible connections to ancient bloodlines of Italian withcraft or stregha, was one of the special people who found one of the nine stones created by Sarah Wyatt. Because of his personality and incredible ruthlessness and determination, He used the awareness and power brought by the stone to seek out and eliminate the others of the Nine. As they were destroyed and made to forget their true natures, his power grew.
You: What is mount analogue?
turingprinciple: Mount Analogue is a company that was actually a front for the mysterios masters behind the 3-0-7. The name Mount Analogue is from a famous book by RENE DAUMAL.
You: Who is Dawn Prufrock ?
turingprinciple: Dawn Prufrock is the Chief of Police in Aglaura NJ. I believe I have found evidence linking her covertly to the Don Marzano family.

You:What is the game? (I expected the Glass Bead Game response)

You: who is wes Keeler?
turingprinciple: In Chasing The Wish, Wes Keeler was the owner of the Emporium of the Weird, an eclectic shop in downtown Aglaura, New Jersey. He was also a good friend and one of the Nine. He never realized his true potential as his stone remained hidden in the bottom of the statue of Digitalis that Sarah had made and given to him.

You: who is digitalis?
turingprinciple: The discovery of digitalis is accredited to the Scottish doctor William Withering. In 1775, one of his patients came to him with a very bad heart condition and since Withering had no effective treatment for him, thought he was going to die. The patient, being an independent type, went instead to a local gypsy, took a secret herbal remedy - and promptly got much better. When Withering heard about this, he became quite excited and searched for the gypsy throughout the by-ways of Shropshire. Eventually he found her, and demanded to know what was in the secret remedy. After much bargaining, the gypsy finally told her secret. The herbal remedy was made from a whole concoction of things, but the active ingredient was the purple foxglove, digitalis purpurea.
She was investigating the weird events in Aglaura and was meeting with Dale Sprague when she was abducted by Don Marzano. Don was trying to force Dale to deliver the Wish to him, becasue he knew the Wish was the only being who could stop his plans.

You: Who is Colin Penrose?

You: Who is Dr. Michelle Kendra ?
turingprinciple: Dr. Michelle Kendra was Dale's therapist at Klepsydra, a mental facility where he was detained in the beginning of Chasing The Wish. She helped to unlock and access his memories throughout the game. She was named for Kendra from the EA game Majestic and Dave Szulborski's sister Michelle.

turingprinciple: 3-0-7 is another name for the numbered ones or the dead eyes and is a name taken from a novel by Rene Barjavel. Their mark was a ring with three smaller circles on one side of it and seven small circles on the other. The website, www.three-o-seven.com, was actually available from the beginning of the game, if anyone had figured out the name from the symbol.

You: we won!
turingprinciple: By "we" do you mean you and me?
You: yes
turingprinciple: Ok what were you saying about us?
You: that we won
turingprinciple: Makes sense to me.
You: what do you remember?
turingprinciple: I remember everything Dr. Peter Fishwycke
taught me.

You: do you remember Dale?
turingprinciple: Dale Sprague was a main character in the
ARG game Chasing The Wish. He was one of the Nine, the
cultural maifestations of archetypal principles and ideals
that exist in every generation throughout time.

You: what is the wish?
turingprinciple: " What if, once in our lives, in times of
great desperation, or desire, each of us is given one wish
that can change our lives, or even the world ? What if we
are not allowed to remember the wish or understand its true
consequences as our memory of making it is erased as soon as
it is spoken ? What if there were a magical being known only
as the Wish, who appeared to us at a time of its own
choosing, at one special moment in our lives, and gave us
the chance to make one spontaneous wish for whatever we
wanted, and then wiped the experience from our consciousness
to hide its existence? And what if, for the first time ever,
somebody didn't forget ? "

You: where is aglaura?
turingprinciple: In Chasing The Wish, Aglaura New Jersey was
a small town in Burlington County, New Jersey, zip code
08088.

You: what is the greywethers login?
turingprinciple: The greywethers log in sure is bugging a
lot of people. Unfortunately, I am not going to tell you the
answer, because it just may be part of the post game special
event. There is a little more info available if
you use the keyword "post game". I will tell you
that the original material behind the greywether log in page
was revealed through other means out of necessity, but there
was another piece of information put behind the log in as a
prize for anyone who managed to figure out the code.

You: post game
turingprinciple: Actually there are a few CTW post game
activites planned. The main Puppetmaster has
several interviews scheduled with various websites and
magazines. He is also planning on doing post game chats very
soon. If you would like to set one up, please e-mail him at
cabal@chasingthewish.com There is also a very
special one day post game event planned that will include
One-Of-A-Kind Item Give-Aways for materials used in CTW
production and - a brand new post game mini-quest using
characters and concepts from CTW! More details
very soon!

You: what is the manuscript?
turingprinciple: In total, there were five manuscript pages
sent out to players of Chasing The Wish. Three
of them contained puzzles, two others were the title and
introductroy pages of the missing Fourth Book of Trithemius'
Steganographia.
You: were they solved?
turingprinciple: I have run the numbers, dots and grid
pattern through millions of combinations.
You: what did you find?
turingprinciple: Nothing.

Email IRIS DALE IS SARAHS BROTHER!!!!

Dear Sunny,
Something has gone wrong with Iris' email. She tried a test by sending an email to me and it never arrived. So, I'm letting her use mine... Phyllis

Sunny, this is Iris, I sent this to you hours ago but I'm thinking you never
got it. So here goes again. My mind is reeling with what happened this
afternoon and I just cannot even begin to tell you how I am shaking.

I went to the library with the statue and found that it was already
fairly crowded with people for the Mars Day celebration. Everyone
seemed to be in such a good mood and the library was all festooned with
garlands and posters. There was even this elaborate food table set out
with everything ranging from cookies and punch to more substantial foods
like sandwiches and potato salads. I swear, if I had not known that
some very messed up things were happening, I would have thought this was just a normal happy day. It was positively surreal!

I tried to sneak in without being seen, but found that the area leading
to the downstairs storage area was closed off. As I considered whether
to sneak down anyway, Mrs. Dobbs spotted me and literally ran to my side
and ushers me around to various people. I tried many times to get away,
but she insisted on introducing me to anyone who would listen. As Mrs.
Dobbs continued to socialize (the whole time keeping one hand on my arm
so tightly that it began to hurt!), I tried to watch the area leading to
the downstairs. It soon became apparent that something was very wrong.
I was disturbed because there were men carrying things down there, like
tool boxes, extension cords and so on. I did not recognize them, nor
did I see any identifying symbols on their clothes, but I am sure you
know as well as I why they were there!

After a half an hour I finally confronted Mrs. Dobbs and asked her about
the men. She told me, "Tomorrow, we will start the work down there that
we had to put off. Isn't that wonderful?" The news, as you can imagine,
hit me like a hammer and I found I could say nothing, I was so crushed.
Eventually I broke free from the gathering and headed toward the area in
back. I stopped between the bookshelves not far from the door where I
could watch without being easily overseen. I leaned against one of the
bookshelves to catch my breath and as I stood there, I suddenly began to
have a vision.

I saw Sarah standing before me and she was speaking, "You have returned, but it is so, so late. There are things that must be done and sacrifices to be made. There is no more time for secrecy or allusion." I was transfixed and could no longer see the surroundings of the library. All
there was around me was darkness, with Sarah standing before me. "Dale, my brother, must be restored." There was a quick flash, like a TV set picture scrambling and going to static for a brief second. I remember saying, "Sarah, what is wrong?"

Sarah replied after a moment, "It is these men, these strangers down
here; they have come to destroy me." There was more static. "Go, I will
use the pathway that has opened to talk to you. Keep the statue with
you. It is one of the k . . ."

It was then, in mid-sentence that her image faded all together. "Sarah?"
I called out, "Sarah?"

"Sarah?" I heard someone, Mrs. Dobbs, say from behind me. "What are you talking about, dear?" Her tone of voice was sweet and warm, but I found that I could not speak. I just looked at her in horror and ran out of
the library.

So here I am, sitting on my bed in Phyllis's house, holding this statue
in my lap as if it will disappear if I do not maintain physical contact
with it. The implications of what Sarah has told me has set my mind
upside down and I cannot settle on any one thing long enough to make
sense of it. I can only hope that all of you can!
