Has anyone tried to look at the locations of the axons lately? We've all been so absorbed with the wav files, and I'm afraid we might be missing some other clues. What does it look like on a map if we connect all of the points in each axon?

Let me try this again, since my previous topic was locked before I could respond.

I said has anyone checked the page FORMATTING for some sort of message? Not the text on the page, as the reply to my previous topic suggested. I know about the text, thanks. I have been keeping up with this since Friday.

I'm talking about FORMATTING. Not text. To repeat the examples of my previous topic, sometimes pictures will be undistorted but sized wrong, or a button will be out of place. Things like that. NOT THE TEXT.

I know I'm new here, but please don't jump to conclusions that I'm bringing up something that has already been widely discussed, and then lock the topic before I can point out that you're talking about something entirely different from what I was saying.

There is a letter from a person named Cassandra to 117 in the "Conversations From The Universe" booklet that comes with halo 2.

There is an empty spot on the front page, in the shaded area for a link to go.

I haven't picked apart the background sounds in an editor yet, but I dont hear anything special going on in the noises.

So one of the weeks we had puzzles, there was a picture with a funny looking code written over it. It looked familiar to me, but I couldn't place it, and I believe the puzzle was solved without cracking it.

Last night, during my usual middle-of-the-night bout of insomnia, it came to me. (Yes, I know it's random -- that's how my mind works.)

It was PIGPEN!

But now I can't find the picture. Did anyone crack it? Because now I'm dying to know what it said.

SP Waves w/hidden data?

Ok maybe this isn't a puzzle and it's just puzzle'n me...

I was listening to the Wavs left on onceuponatime.html and in Windows Media Player I get an error listening to them near the end of each of the newest waves. It doesn't happen X # of seconds after it starts or before it ends... and it doesn't happen when I listen to any other wave on the website (namely the Axon waves).... Is there something here or an I just over eager for info from the Sleeping Princess.

Just to help:
- I'm use'n WinMedia Player version 10.00.00.3646
- And when I play it in WinAmp it goes right through it with no problem.
(is WinAmp just better at dealing and Media player evil and anal... yeah probably. But does that mean there is nothing in the file?)
- I downloaded them to my HDD, same behaviour, and opened them in Notepad but nothing stood out.

Someone have a hex editor or sound software that can shine some more light this way?

I don't know that this is a puzzle at all, but I'm curious about your reactions.

I tried to match all the text markers to specific sections of Tristram Shandy. Others have posted pieces of this elsewhere in the forums. But at least one got very different answers about the location of the quotes, and I found no-one with all the text markers. (Although I won't swear I have them all either; this is just more than I've seen others put in one place.)

Do you think there anything to be made of these quotes?

Well, I thought I'd try something a little different to make contact. I put a puzzle in one of my pictures from the picture puzzle and sent it off to Melissa/Whoever. Hopefully it will lead to a way we can leave more complicated graphics, messages etc. Or probably, the PM's will not notice it at all ;)

But I kind of suck at puzzles, and I could use help making sure it works, and if you get the answer(s) then maybe you could help me add to the message...

It's not a very hard puzzle, but I figure they (PM's) don't have the thousands of people we have to work on them :) It was just a nod of appreciation. But it got me thinking, if people would like to work on a harder puzzle to send, I'd totally be down for that!
