It's the group of four pay phones next to the restrooms in the back of the Food Court on the first level of the Glendale Galleria. You want the phone that is furthest to the right. It does not ring audibly, so you have to wait about 15-20 seconds, answer it anyway, and hope for the best.

The Glendale Galleria has been doing some serious remodeling to its Food Court lately. As part of the project, this entire bank of pay phones has been removed. *sigh* Another piece of history gone forever...

Welcome to Unfiction!

You're actually posting in a thread for a game that's been over for more than two years, but there are plenty of games currently going on:

First, for a quick visual representation of popular, currently-running games, it's always good to check the "what's hot" feature at ARGNet .

Studio Cypher is producing pay-to-play mini-args, or "chapters" in a "multi-player novel." Chapter 4 is just getting started, so you're right on time. (You don't need to have played the previous chapters to play.) I believe the cost for playing is $9.99.
If you were intrigued by ILB, like dystopian sci-fi, or are a Nine Inch Nails fan, Year Zero is rumored to be produced by the team behind ILB, 42 Entertainment. Catch up on the thread here , or watch ARGN for an article coming soon.
Monster Hunter Club recently launched as a promotion for the movie The Host . The ARGNet article gives a summary and also provides links to resources such as an official blog to help you catch up quickly. Trailhead thread here .
The Committee of the Sedulous Amalgamation appears poised to move from pre-game to a more active stage, and uses a lot of snail-mail, which is always fun. The ARGNet article describes it more fully. Trailhead thread here .
Meigeist is a corporate-produced ARG that players have been very pleased with. It hasn't been going that long. There's a guest ARGNet article here that summarizes the most recent developments, as well as an older introductory article here . The game's forum is here .
If you like horror, you might be interested in The Human Pet , which appears to be conducting itself with a certain black-humoured aplomb. UF discussion is here and ARGNet coverage is here .
Doom Skull has been described as an "ARG with training wheels" -- the puzzles and story are fairly simple, and an in-game guide makes it easy to catch up. UF discussion is here , and ARGNet coverage is here .
NBC is doing Heroes 360 in connection with the show Heroes , but it doesn't really seem to be a full-fledged ARG. ARGNet coverage is here , UF discussion is here .
Finally, if you liked I Love Bees, 42 Entertainment (the company behind it) recently put out Cathy's Book , which is sort of an ARG-in-a-book. ARGNet coverage here .

Hope you find a game that suits you and have a great first-ARG experience!

What's your gamertag?

By the way, jump in on some other ARGs. Perplex City just started, and there are some good ones you can jump in the middle.

To anyone who is going -- Any way to get pics of the exhibit? Maybe the text of Jane's remarks (after, of course, let her surprise us)?
[/begging]

on behalf of the rest of us geographically-deprived people who don't live in California...

I plan on going to both the exhibit and lecture, so I'll try to take as many pictures as I can.

I am going to go to the exhibit on Saturday, the 12th and the lecture on the 14th. I will try to get some pics up then.

As far as larger files, or zipped compilations....Does anyone know how to start a torrent? I think that would be the most efficient way of getting data out there, rather than having someone host it on a site. Please PM if you can help me.

Bless you, too.
