These sites are all good ones. I'm interested in learning web security skills and am afraid I'm too old to go the traditional computer science major route. Are there any good tutorial sites out there pertaining to web security? Thanks to all the great experienced folk on here that put up with us rank amateurs who like to hang around the pros LOL!

Has anyone used conducttr? I know it's out of beta now. I recently signed up and the documentation seems a little scattered, but thorough, and the learning curve seems a bit steep. Could be a great way to automate a lot of interactions, though.

Leak allows users to send anonymous emails to any address. Seems like a good tool for puppet masters looking to get games off the ground. Want to spark a potential-player's interest? Send them a cryptic, anonymous clue that leads them to the next piece of the puzzle!

Cipher stuff:

Kender's Vigenere Guesser. Link .

WhoIs etc.
Whois lookup. Link .
Domain name lookup. (Find if a domain exists). Link .

Sound manipulation:
Audacity. Link .

Of course, wikipedia, google, youtube, facebook, twitter, etc. etc.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, and every game is different, as catherwood said, but I tend to use these things fairly often. Different people different answers, of course...
