ok so just double checking - do we know anything's happening tonight? As far as I know, the countdown was to midngiht UTC, and that's when the new map overlay piece showed up... any other indication ...

hah, you're right, they were recently converted to volleyball courts

I digress.
They do appear to be basketball courts, but the lines don't match typical basketball court lines (to my knowledge  ), and actually seem more similar to tennis lines.
But, I still do...

Are you sure? Because the courts in the video have the curved point lines, and green courts. These are brown courts with straight tennis court lines.

I don't think this is a simple substitution. There are a number of combined symbols, and I'm thinking this is a relatively complex hieroglyph message (relative to alphabetic substitution that is).
