no, gamespot misquoted an MS rep from Eurogamer. The original said the Halo series would culminate on the 26th of August, Gamespot took that to mean Iris would end on the 26th.

the top central diagram in terminal.jpg isn't moon phases... or at least, it's not the moon around the earth. The central sphere is a light source, the surrounding object is receiving the light... so...
