ok, to clarify what we're seeing at this moment -

also good points... forgot the references to spanning space and time. So if you consider that Gravemind and Cortana have 'connected' in 2552, who's to say that the pair can't communicate now through ...

based on the points raised, and 'millennia', I'm figuring it's the gravemind... he's been around this long too - he's flood, and the ark was built because of the flood... he's had millennia to grow an...
