The only way for you to ever expand your comfort zone is to do something that is outside of it. Then you will have the confidence to push out your bubble to incorporate bigger challenges, such as the one you just accomplished.

I'm glad the map helps. I know how nice it is to have some forsight when your going out into the relative unknown. However, I'm proud of you and for everyone else that is pushing their limits with this trip.

ahh, the comfort zone Confused i don't extend out of that zone much at all, but given some coffee, or other beverages, being social gets easier.

i'm looking forward to meeting some of you at the event. i think i've decided to go wearing a Marathon t-shirt. hopefully some of you will be familiar with Marathon Smile

have we settled on a meeting place and time? let me know, and remember to PM me if you want my number so we can meet up or whatever... we'll both be extending our respective comfort zones Laughing

Park on the top floor of the garage.

Ok, so we are going to hang out at Chipotle till we go to register? Because my flight gets in at 4:10, and it will take me a while to drive to the event. I am probably going to get there around 5:15-5:30 or so. If you guys will still be there, I will come to the Chipotle. If not, I may just go hang out at the mall. Oh, and I will be with Guard1an as well, my friend is driving both of us from O'Hare.

Have we decided on where we are going after the event? Is it Denny's?

PM me for my cell number as well. GKhrone/Clayfoot will be with me, and we rented a car if we need to coordinate troop movement.

*thumbs up* Ok, yay for somewhat coordination.

My ILB soundtrack didn't really pan out. It quickly degenerated into just a bunch of music I like. Although I could stretch some of the songs to make them fit.

Kidney thieves- Before I'm dead
Voltaire- Dead girls Like Me
Tori Amos- Siren
Poe- Angry Johnny
Auf Der Maur- Real, a Lie
A Perfect Circle- Judith (renholder version)
Billy Joel- She's always a woman to me
Bowie- Moonage Daydream
VNV Nation- Kathys song
HIM- Right here in my arms
Garbage- Temptation waits
Jack off Jill- Girlscout
The Stills- Still in Love
AFI- Stardust
Garbage- The trick is to keep breathing
Veruca Salt- pretty Boys

In case you couldnt place some of the bands, I have really odd tastes and prefer kick ass girl bands and older guy bands.

Oh no. Thursday's update has preview coordinates up, again. What does someone do who has to travel FAR to get to Chicago? Wait until the axon goes hot then leave and chance arriving late? Or head out and miss the axon with plenty of time... oh the agony! Mad

I think that would be the best way to get a group photo near a phone. I don't remember who originally suggested that. sorry.

This is from another thread. But an article posted on GameSpot about the ilovebees saga has info on what will happen on the 4th. They got information from contact with Microsoft and found that:

-It will be at the theatres nearby.
-We will recieve the special ILB DVD.
-We'll also get a spiffy lanyard!
-There will be a final ILB chapter.
-Finally, xboxes will be setup to play the final version of Halo 2 multiplayer

Nice, well now we have some concrete proof as to what we are going to be doing there. I'm glad it isn't only Halo 2, however, I'm glad we get one final message from ILB. I haven't had time to listen to the cound clips from this week (and my comp is screwed up and won't let me), but from what my friend described, it doesn't seem like it wasn't much of a finish. Now it is apparent that we will find out in Chicago.

The two axons in the city proper are probably early enough in the day for peeps to get to before heading out to Woodfield. I cannot go; I am working all day, but I will be leaving work at 4 PM to head out to the 'burbs from downtown.

If anyone needs info on the axons here, please let me know, or search for posts by me with the words "platform," "movie," "Wrigley," "north end," or "concession." That should get you info about both the Red Line platform axon, and the Century Landmark movie axon. Very Happy

Spie... I was looking at your map and I don't ever remember there being a Wolf Camera nor a Chipotle where they are placed on it... After the Gameworks I thought there was a Jamba Juice and then a Starbucks... If there's a Chiptole etc., then it must be behind the rest of the stores, sort of down the street / around the corner.. Correct?

The Jamba juice and starbucks are farther down, the chipotle and wolf camera are next door.

I've been looking for blank t-shirts to use for our iron-on decals, and I think I've found some that will pretty easy for all of us to find. Old Navy has some nice baby dolls and women's fitted long sleeve tees in black:

I'm going to go try them on to see which one is the most comfy, but I'm leaning towards getting one of the long sleeved tees. It's November, in Chicago, in a movie theater, and I don't want to freeze my butt off.

Got my shirt! I ended up getting the black short sleeve. Short sleeved perfect fit tees are 2 for $12 right now, and long sleeved are 1 for $11. Tough decision... Wink
