I'm not sure about the Brigid character's authenticity either but it seems that this is a game with a real reward (based on what some of us have discovered).

I dont think its trying to appeal to Halo2 style gamers but more like people in London - or the UK - who are getting all the extra real world clues.

But for 10,946 GBP - I'm in!

I'm thinking Jon is in a pub somewhere!

Alas, typing "Hornchurch" in as the answer to Jon's location doesn't work...

Pointless meta rambling that may spoil your immersion:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Does anyone else get the sense that the PMs have got a bit ahead of themselves? It's as if someone got into the office late one night having had rather too much complementary Stella, put up helpmefindjon and woke up in the morning with those 'Brigid' clips on repeat... and thinking "for the love of god, what have i done?"

*dreams* If only there was something ingame that definitely confirmed whether there are clues to find and solve now, or if we're still in pre-game, or if it's never really going to be a fully fledged game at all. *ends dream*

The symbols on the weather map are just regular weather symbols, they are what they appear to be the arrow on the blowing sand is the direction of the wind I think.

Guess who registered...

EDITED
... Jon's own site, www.hewalksamongus.com , go on guess.

That's right - our old friends of DraftLondon, through quite a chain. It goes Joker.com to Marlowe Digital (loweplus.com) to lowelive.com (and Netherworld denizens are, of course, the ultimate in lowlife), which has now become DraftLondon. Anybody care to speculate why Jon would have his site registered by the creators of Sable and Shuck? *scratches chin, thinking furiously* Wink

is it possible, given that this is not a "this is not a game" type of event that it's a pm "mistake" that they used to the names to register all websites, rather than pretending to be the individuals? Also, your link has a comma in it.

Hi,

am new to all this.

Has anyone discovered the significance of the 'strange' amount of the reward?

well done. I wouldn't have quickly considered that. [edit] Actually, the winning lotto numbers at the Hornchurch newspaper are the Fibonacci numbers as well, so what is their significance?[/edit]

Does 21 have any special significance? 777?

777 is supposed to be the number for heaven or something I heard. 21 rings a bell but i cant remember.

Well... I don't know if 21 means anything in judeo-christian religions, other than the obvious 21=7+7+7, 777 which is usually interpreted either as heaven, or encompassing all of the heavens {including angels & god} or just a "godly" number.

However, in quite a few Pagan religions 21 is an extremely powerful number, as both seven and 3 are both powerful in their own right, and 21 is obviously 7*3.... However, I doubt this is pertinent, I just felt like adding something.

stuff

just thinking has anyone noticed if the new aquisitions names (currently

J. Brook, French Guiana, FMCG with Textile options

L. Gilbert, Ceylon, FMCG with Travel options

S. Andrews, UK, FMCG with Supernatural options

D. Horen, USA, FMCG with Currency options)

change on any regular basis? i figure when they start 2 change then our oppurtunities wil begin as they take on new aquisitions. also do these names ring a bell for anyone? horen is kind of a horn like thing (dveil horn?), but i know thats clutching at straws. are the places they come from important? they've all taken fmcg as their main choices as well.

as for 777 its jokingly referred to as the number of heaven, but i dont think it has much historic reference, just as substantial as 667 being the neighbour of the beast Razz i like the pagan angle a lot more seems to make sense. as for 21 it also ties in because of the prize being the 21st fibonacci number.

thats all i got (and yeah i know its not much!)
