Tefillin

From Simon Bassi's profile:

Quote:

Simon got up and got the tefillin. He came back and Maurice took them and carefully wrapped Simon's arm, seven times. "Baruch Atah Adonai, elohainu, melech haolam, asher kidshanu b'mitzvotav v'tzivanu l'haniach t'fillin."

Taken from http://www.milechai.com/judaism/tefillin.html

Quote:

Then the arm tefillin is tightend, and wrapped around the arm seven times without interruption. On placement of the head tefillin, before tightening, the following is recited: "Blessed are you, Lord, our God, King of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and has commanded us regarding the commandment of tefillin."

It's hilarious to see the non ARG players wonder what the email is.

I got the email too, at 00.07 GMT. Wonder what's the point in sending the mail to us all hours after it's been sent to a few others, when we've already worked on it exaustively and things (all things?) have been discovered.
*Nadif feels unprivileged and go cry alone in the closet* Sad

Well, in practical usage, more like "the butcher."

"Then came the shochet that slaughtered the ox that drank the water that quenched the fire that burned the stick that beat the dog that bit the cat that ate the goat..."
Doesn't the message at the American Eagle Bail Bonds phone number say something about "The Butcher"?

Could Hashochet be translated as "the killer"?

Because the text from thedealer's "Tips for the Living" says:
Quote:
You'll look around the table, and you'll see the same eight players: The Banker and the Sheriff, the Killer and the Kid. The Gambler, the Preacher, the Half-breed and the Drunk.

So far, then, we have the Preacher (preacher) and the Killer (Hashochet).

The rest should turn up as the game progresses, right?

Maybe, but the butcher thing from the phone, as shad0 said seems more likely to me, and Cigarette seems to have the Killer role pretty much under control.
